(Y/N) P.O.V

Well that was certainly not how I expected last night to go, like at all. I was fully and mentally prepared for either a silent treatment or maybe even an argument, but not a confession. Now I can't say I'm unhappy with our discussion outcome, I am more than happy with how it turned out. However, now I am just confused on where exactly we go with this. I mean the original idea was convince the Commission we weren't compatible, but we can't exactly do that now. Unless we were going to date in secret but I don't know... wait are we even dating?!

I bolted up from where I was laying on my bed with the realization that he didn't exactly ask me out. He just admitted he had feelings, we kissed, both at dinner quietly, and went to bed. Oh my gosh how am I even supposed to act today. I groaned getting out of bed to get ready for the day while thinking about all the ways I could bring up the topic to him without sounding awkward. Last night he seemed so shy about his feelings so I definitely don't want to push him for answers he may not know yet. Okay, so I'll go down stairs act as if everything is normal and see if he brings it up. Yep that's definitely the best plan.

As I began to make my way out of my room, I could smell something coming from the kitchen and hear someone shuffling around.  As I entered the area I could already see the mess of bowls on the counter and the random ingredients around the area. Before Shoto could notice where I was I decided I would watch to see what he was up to. His face looked so concentrated as he stared at whatever was cooking in the pan. He picked up a fork and stabbed whatever it was lightly once before deciding it was fine and dumping it onto the plate. A sort of disfigured tan lump landed on the plate before Shoto turned to place the plate at one of the seats at the counter. I noticed a second plate with food was already situated there along with two cups of coffee and a plate of somewhat burnt bacon. I decided to step out of my semi hidden position out of curiosity for what Shoto was doing.

The moment I moved Shoto noticed me, "Oh good morning (Y/N), I made us some breakfast." He said with a small smile.

"Oh so you can cook?" I joked hoping he would get the reference to when all he would do was order fast food.

"Well not exactly... I watched some videos on how to make pancakes and bacon cause it seemed simple and I figured you were done with face food." He stated with a slight tilt of his head indicating to the meal he set out.

"Oh and how did it all turn out?" I asked making my way over to one of the chairs.

"Um I'm not sure... I kind of burned the bacon and I don't know about the pancakes..." He said seriously while glaring at the pancakes like that would intimidate them to be perfect.

"I'm sure it will be great Shoto thank you for making breakfast. That was very sweet of you." I smiled cutting a small bite of my pancake to find that it was a little too dense for my liking but the flavor was there all the same.

"Well I wanted to do something to show you I cared... that I meant what I said yesterday. Anyway how is it?" Shoto looked at me expectantly with wide eyes as if he was afraid I was going to tell him that it was terrible.

"It's good Shoto, you did really good for your first time making them. I really appreciate the gesture too, it's really nice and I appreciate it greatly. I know you meant what you said I never doubted it." I hoped that my answer would push any doubt he had that I wasn't interested in giving this a shot out of his mind.

"I'm glad... so would you like to go on a date sometime this week? I know I didn't ask you out properly last night." Shoto says, "Or at all" he adds as an after thought.
