(Y/N) P.O.V.

When Shoto said he would be working at the agency and we could partner in the field I thought it was going to be a fun experience getting to know him better and how he acts at work. What I was not expecting was for him to be sharing my office. Something about his new office being remodeled so he needs a temporary place to work and everyone just figured my office would be that place. Now I'm not saying I don't want Shoto around but sometimes he can't read social cues very well. It's very sweet he wants to help with reports from patrols and that he wants to deal with all the media, but it's quite annoying when he is doing virtually everything.

It's been three days since we have both been at the agency and I have filled out one damage control report and caught with one, ONE petty thief. Shoto has been on all the patrols with me and all I do is follow him around when he does all the work. Now he has taken it upon himself to stash all the paper work on his temporary desk and hasn't let me near any of them. I know he is trying to make my adjustment back to work as easy as possible but this is just ridiculous.

"Hey Shoto mind if I look at that interview request?" I asked hoping for a different answer.

"Oh after this report I'll look at it don't worry about it. I'm almost done with this." He answered the same way he had been doing for the past three days.

"Shoto you know I can fill out paper work right?"

"Well of course I know you can but don't you have stuff you need to catch up on? So let me worry about this and you catch up." He stated like it was a well known fact.

   "Um Shoto?"

"Yes?" He replied finally looking over at me.

"Do you see paper work on my desk? Or for that matter even noticed that I haven't been doing anything other than scrolling on my phone these past two days?" I questioned. I was now genuinely confused if he was just genuinely that oblivious.

"Oh... I never realized I guess I was just too wrapped up in my own work to notice." He begins to smile.

"You mean our work. Too wrapped up in work meant for two people." I pointed out.

"Well I suppose you are right about that one. Here I guess you can look at that interview offer. I haven't read it yet so I have no clue what it's about or what else it may be asking about." Shoto brings the packet over to my desk for me.

"Thank you Shoto. I'll let you know if it's something we need to do or if it's just garbage." I say grabbing the packet from his hand as he turned to go back to whatever report he was working on.

The first thing I noticed was that it wasn't any old interview request, but that it was approved by the Commission. That should have been the first red flag and I should have just thrown it out, but curiosity and boredom got the best of me as I began to read through. It was a request that has been sent to all the top hero "couples" asking to speak to them about their new relationships. It had a list of who would go what days if the heroes accepted and what channels it would air on. What it surprisingly didn't have was an example of or any questions that would for sure be asked in the interview. The summary given at the end just stated they wanted the couples to make a public appearance together and confirm they were dating or engaged and the Commission would count that as the first step completed. It also stated if the offer was rejected that the first step could still be validated through social media or public conference held on the couples own accord.

I re-read the offer and it honestly seemed to be the easiest way to get the Commission off our backs for awhile, especially those two agents who came back to the house after recovery again. That's something I would personally rather avoid, there's just something off about one of them. He always seems to be pushing for too much information past a professional level. I looked over to see Shoto still working, and even though he hasn't said it he's annoyed about the Commission pushing the subject also so maybe this is a good opportunity. It's not that far off either our spot if we take it is next week and it's only for 20 minutes which seems quite short.
