                        IVY SILVER POV

    It was bizarre.
Hermann hadn't even tried to push me, and that was unsettling.  Did he want to set me free?  No, no, Ivy, don't get ahead of yourself. Stay calm until you're sure.

"Hey," I snapped, Genevieve halfway through the doorway. I leaped out of bed and into her arms. She giggled, like she'd just won some bizarre game.
"Mr. Rodriguez is waiting downstairs," she said, breaking the moment. Great. Just great. I thought following her down the stairs, my eyes scanning for him. This was it, the moment I'd been waiting for… or was I?  Honestly? I wasn't sure I was ready. But who was I kidding? I couldn't rewind time.

My mind raced, a whirlwind of thoughts, and before I knew it, I was standing before Hermann Rodriguez, the monster who’d stolen my freedom and the thought of even a minute in his presence sent shivers down my spine.
A wave of weakness washed over me; his presence had a debilitating effect, trapping me in a cage of fear.

"Miss me?" he asked playfully.

"I just want to get out of here," I blurted, the words escaping before I could stop them.

Hermann shook his head.  "there's no way out, sweetheart."

"What do you mean?" I asked, my voice trembling.

"You are mine." he said, his voice cold, his face impassive.

My body stiffened at his cruel words. "But.." Tears welled up, uncontrollable, the tears of helplessness that always seemed to appear when I felt trapped.

"Give in," he spoke quietly.  "I know what you search for, you need me"

Maybe he was right.
With his ultimate line of connections i could find my mother sooner. I never wanted this life, this blood-soaked world of violence, but I had no choice.

"You swear on your life?" I whispered.

"You have my word," he said, assuring and somehow I believed him.

Then, two stunning women appeared, their beauty almost surreal.  "Label her perfectly," Hermann said, his gaze locking onto mine.

"After you, ma'am," one of them said, a blonde in a short dress. I climbed the stairs, the women following behind like tails, trying not to look back, but I failed. I saw Hermann talking to Norman, i drew a deed breath before turning ahead.

A woman in a white uniform untied my robe, letting it fall.  She guided me to a warm bath, red roses floating on the surface.
After my bath, a blonde in black handed me a white robe and a glass of red wine.
In the bedroom, a tall, thin, tattooed man in blue gloves waited.
"Hello, beautiful. I'm Roger, and I'll be doing your tattoo today," he said, taking my hand.

A tattoo? Me?

"Look, thank you, Roger, but I'm not aware of this," I said, trying to explain.

He chuckled, seating me on the bed. "It was Mr. Rodriguez's orders
," he said.

I frowned.  "How big is it going to be?"

"Don't worry, I know exactly what to do, you'll fall in love with it" he said, lowering my robe.  "So, you're his entertainer, huh? You're lucky," he said, out of the blue.

"Not quite. It's hell," I murmured.

"Do you know how many girls would kill for this chance?" he asked, applying something on my neck.

"Yeah, well, that's them," I said, wincing as he began the tattoo.

"Sorry…" he said softly. "What made you agree to him then?"

"He promised me something," I said bitterly, taking a sip of wine.

Roger was quiet for a moment, then said softer. "You know, i was a wreck before Mr. Rodriguez found me." Then he added, "his hard at first but his not entirely stoned"

" thank you" I said reluctantly.

Then, after sometime, "Done," he announced.

"Finally," I said, more of a groan than a sigh.  This was excruciating. "How am I supposed to see it if it's on the back of my neck?"

"It's not for you to see. It's for me," Hermann's voice cut through the air as he entered the room.
"You superior son of a bitch," I muttered under my breath.
