We got to his studio, and his place was just as organized and neat as the last time I was there. He quickly put on some soft music and went to make some hot water. I dropped my school bag and plopped on the sofa. It had been a long day, and I didn't realize how tired I was.
"What kind of ice cream do you want?" he asked. "I have mint chocolate chip and vanilla fudge."
"Mint chocolate chip, please. That's my favorite!"
"Me too!" he exclaimed.
While we ate our ice cream, we talked about the flavors we liked and disliked. We agreed that pistachio and bubble gum were the worst. When we were done, Hoseok took our bowls to the sink and made two cups of coffee. Without asking, he made mine with two creamers and added a packet of hot cocoa mix. He knew that I only drank mocha if I had to drink coffee. Chai was always my first choice.
"Thank you for remembering that I like chocolate in my coffee."
"I noticed you added a hot cocoa packet to your coffee whenever we had late group work sessions and needed to stay awake," he replied.
"That's very observant. Kind of like how I noticed your ordering Sprite as your choice of soda."
"Yes, that's correct. You've been watching me, huh? Anything else you noticed?"
"Well, you make these cute little sounds when you're happily working on something. When you laugh really hard you either fall to the ground or on the person sitting next to you. You sometimes fiddle with your earlobe. Oh, and you don't like bugs," I replied confidently.
"Wow! I'm impressed and a bit flattered that I'm that interesting to watch," he blushed.
"What else have you noticed about me?" I asked.
"Hmm, I know you prefer chai over coffee. When you're in deep thought, you twirl your hair with your finger. You shake your leg when you're either anxious or bored. Oh, and you have no problem smashing a bug with your hand if you have to."
"Now I'm the one impressed."
He reached over, took the coffee cup from my hand, and stood up.
"Dance with me," he said, pulling me up.
Slow music was playing and he began to wrap his arms around my waist. Nervously, I put my arms on his shoulders.
He chuckled and said, "We're not at a middle school dance. You can get closer and wrap your arms around my neck."
I hesitated, so he pulled me closer. I smelled his sweet cologne and took it in as he led us smoothly to the rhythm of the music. I could tell he was a really good dancer. Eventually, my body relaxed into his embrace.
"Mmm, you're wearing the vanilla scent again. Did you wear it just for me?" he asked.
Hesitating at first, I whispered, "Yes, just for you."
He leaned his face into my neck to inhale my scent. I could feel his warm breath on my neck and my stomach began to knot. He pulled me even closer as his hands gripped my torso.
He whispered into my ear, "You smell so sweet! It's driving me crazy!"
His hands slowly moved across my back and made me shiver. I started to run my fingers through his raven hair as I took in his sweet scent. He sensually glided his lips across my neck up to my ear while his hands caressed my back. I sighed softly, which immediately delighted him. Still moving to the rhythm of the music, he moved back to look directly into my eyes.
"You're very beautiful, you know," he said. He kissed me gently on the lips. "So, what did you mean by 'Everything'?"
Not hesitating, I pulled him in and whispered in his ear, "All of you."
"Then access to all of me is granted as long as I can have access to all of you, too."
I looked into his eyes and responded, "Access granted." I started kissing his neck while I ran my fingers through his hair.
I slowly moved my kisses from his neck to across his jawline and made my way back to his lips. He let out a low moan and we started passionately kissing. I opened my mouth to allow his tongue in to explore. My hands drifted down to his waist to pull up his shirt so I could feel his warm skin. He lifted me up, carried me over to the sofa, and pulled me down to straddle his lap. He proceeded to kiss and nibble on my neck while his hands explored my upper body. Caught up in the sensation of it all, I sighed deeply which only made his kissing more intense.
"Hoseok, you're really driving me crazy right now," I said breathlessly.
"That's the whole idea, Sunshine," he muttered as his hands firmly gripped my hips.
He gently turned me to lay on the sofa and settled on top of me. I reached under his shirt and glided my hands along his back while we heatedly kissed. He hungrily moved his kisses to my neck while he hand slid up my shirt to caress my breast. After several minutes, he finally pulled away, breathing heavily.
"Sunshine, as much as I REALLY want 'access' to all of you, we should cool down a bit. I want us to start off right and do things at a good pace and not rush things, if you're okay with that."
"Why, Hoseok, I didn't realize you were such a tease! But yes, I want to start things right with you as well." I buried my face into the crook of his neck.
"Good. It's getting late and we should get you back to your apartment." He kissed my forehead and held me tight. "We'll have our dinner date tomorrow to continue where we left off."
As I secretly smiled, I pulled myself together as he lifted us off the sofa. I hated having to leave his embrace, but I knew I'd be back in it. I picked up my school bag and he held my hand as we headed back to my apartment.
