The Power of Three [Twilight/Charmed]

Part One - Chapter Twenty-Five: The Newborn Battle

Standing in the clearing the siblings shifted nervously as they waited for the battle to begin; they knew what was at stake here and they knew that they couldn't fail.

The newborns needed to be stopped, they couldn't be allowed to reach the town and the Volturi were the least of their worries if they did.

There was a heavily silence in the air and everyone was tense, not just from the impending fight but the news of Bella's engagement to Edward had just been revealed; something that meant that Jacob had been hurting since Edward had been the one to spitefully reveal it to him.

"Any minute now," Amelia whispered making Aiden nod his head as they waited in the shadows, just behind the Cullens who were in the opening; the brunette was wearing a black jumper with off the shoulder detail and low rise skinny ankle grazer jeans paired with black leather boots.

The snow that had fallen over night didn't bother her that much and she knew that the soon as the battle was over, Paul would be more than happy to warm her up again; she had no doubt that this would go well for them.

Alicia stood beside her older sister wearing a brown pocket jumper and high waist slim jeans paired with brown heeled ankle boots, she shifted nervously hoping that this all went well before she looked at Aiden knowing that they all needed to survive this.

"Remember the plan," Aiden said crossing his arms, he was wearing a brown jumper with roll neck and black slim jeans paired with black trainers; his eyes watching the space before them.

The siblings weren't wearing anything loose in case the newborns were able to grab a hold of it, they wanted to be able to more as freely as possible; they needed to survive this battle without getting killed.

Paul looked over at his imprint, who offered him a weak smile, he didn't know what he would do if something happened to her; he shift his weight as Jacob called his attention back to the task at hand.

"This is it," Alicia murmured as the first of the newborns entered the field, Amelia nodded her head as she prepared herself; she knew that there was no going back after this and they all needed to be focused.

Time seemed to stand still for a moment before all hell broke loose as the seventeen newborns rushed forward out of the trees and the pack revealed themselves; between the Cullens, the pack and the Charmed Ones there were seventeen members to even out with the newborns.

Garrett had left shortly after the Graduation party stating that he hadn't wanted to get in the way of Amelia's relationship with Paul and had decided it would be better if he left.

Amelia glanced at Aiden as she realised that two vampires were missing and they needed to find them since it wouldn't end well if they found Bella and Edward; the brunette's mind was already seeing what would happen if they didn't do something.

"Victoria's not here... she's gone after Bella with Riley," Amelia announced making Aiden groan; Alicia nodded at her siblings before she slipped away to help with the fight, she already knew that they would be able to handle things without her.

Aiden took his Amelia's hand before he orbed away to where he knew Bella and Edward were hiding; they needed to be quick so that the worst didn't happen.

Landing in the mountains where Bella was being hidden away from the fight, they didn't know why Edward had been so stupid and hadn't taken her far away; somewhere where Victoria wouldn't have been able to find Bella.

Amelia frowned as she realised that they had landed somewhere that they shouldn't have, they were nowhere near the camp and they had to have landed here for a reason.
