Staring up at the castle, Amelia took a deep breath as she wondered just how bad it was going to be breaking inside; she leant against the wall watching the entrance knowing that the time was coming.
Next to her stood Alicia who looked like she wanted to be anywhere but here, she had barely spoken a couple of words to anyone but Embry since they had arrived in Italy but they'd had to part that morning.
"Why do we always where black for battles?" Aiden asked stopping next to his sisters, they were waiting for the signal to show that the first group had gotten inside and gotten rid of the guards.
It wouldn't be an easy task but the vampires had insisted that they be the first to enter, they had no idea what was going to happen when they found the Source.
"Well, that's so bad guys don't see us bleed," Amelia replied looking at her brother, she couldn't help but smile a little at her attempt to ease the tension.
Aiden offered Amelia a small smile, he didn't know if they would make it out of this but he would do anything in his power to make sure that they all made it out alive.
"That's the signal, let's go," Piper murmured seeing the signal, she hoped that the vampires hadn't betrayed them for the Source; she looked at Phoebe and Paige a little worried about what was too come.
They had a job to do and they didn't have any time to waste, the sooner that they were inside the castle; the sooner that they could track down the Source.
Getting to their feet, the six witches didn't waste any time before they moved away and started towards the castle; the celebrations would cover what was about to happen.
They moved quickly and silently knowing that the last thing that they needed was to attract the attention of any innocents; they would only end up getting hurt in the ensuing fight.
Slipping into the door that had been left open for them, they looked around impressed with how the vampires had dealt with the guards; they were scattered about dead and it was clear that none had survived the first wave.
Amelia chewed on her lip as she stepped over the dead bodies, she didn't look down instead focused on getting some sort of feeling for where the Source would be hiding.
Touching the wall, Amelia fought the urge to gag at the feeling that she got; she had to remain focused especially since she was tracking the Source.
"He's in the throne room," Amelia whispered pulling her hand away from the wall, she turned back to the others knowing that they needed to move quickly if they wanted to avoid detection.
They didn't need to be killed off before they had a chance to destroy the Source, it wasn't going to be easy but they all knew that they just couldn't let him take over the world.
"Of course he is," Paige muttered with a shake of her head, she looked to her sisters knowing that this could very well be the end; she never thought that she would have to face this battle with them again.
Everything happened for a reason and if they were going to defeat the Source then things were going to have to change.
The world was evolving and tonight everything would change, there would be no stopping that; either the Source fell or they did, the battle of good vs evil and everything was at stake.
Alicia trailed behind her cousins and siblings, her mind telling her that there was still time for her to turn around and leave; she and Embry could graduate from high school and live their lives in any way that they wanted.
All that Alicia had to do was betray the people before her, she doubted any of them would forgive her if she turned around and ran away leaving them to die.

Wiping the sweat from his forehead, Paul took a deep breath as he moved further down the hallway; bodies of demons and vampires that had been on guard duty scattered the floor from the opening battle.
There would be more of them to come and Paul could only hope that this distraction would help, he couldn't imagine what was going to happen on Amelia's end but he did know that it could end badly.
"Come on," Jacob whispered snapping Paul out of his depressing thoughts, he crept along the corridor knowing that he couldn't get distracted now.
He doubted that Amelia would forgive him for dying in battle, they had a son that needed them both and they had both sworn to come back from this and they were both determined to keep that promise.
Sneaking down the corridor, they moved silently trying not to attract any more attention to themselves than they needed to do; turning the corner, the wolves came to a stop at the sight that lay ahead of them.
"Oh my God," Paul whispered staring at the bonfire that lay ahead of them, he couldn't take his eyes off the flames even as he stepped back; his stomach turning already knowing who was on that pile.
They had all known that there was a chance that they wouldn't all make it out alive but seeing this just confirmed that they would all suffer loses.
"Who wants to be the one to tell Carlisle?" Embry whispered moving away, he stared at the flames knowing that this was just the beginning; the battle had only just begun.
Not saying a word, the wolves hurried away taking a different corridor and hoping that they wouldn't come across more bonfires with their friends on anytime soon.

"It's all falling into place," the Source purred moving to rest in his seat, his body was growing tired and since he had taken over Aro's body things had only grown worse; the power that he held was destroying the body.
It had been only a matter of time before the witches attacked and with their allies were dropping like flies; the Source was sure that there was little to be done to stop him now.
The witches had waited too long to come and confront him in Volterra and the Source had used everything that he had to make sure that there was no way they could win.
Aro had been a very clever vampire before he had been destroyed by the Source taking over his body, his memories had faded and now there was very little left of him.
Many of the guards that had rushed to do his bidding had been destroyed and the Source didn't even regret his actions; they were useless to him if they couldn't take orders.
"The final battle is upon us," the Source announced making his loyal followers in the room cheer, they would leave soon and go to find those who wished to destroy what they had worked for.
The Source knew what would happen if the witches destroyed him, he couldn't let that happen and he had planned this out carefully and the Warren line would die tonight.
Of course he would still have to track down the children but that was just going to be a final action, killing the witches that had caused him so much trouble in the past would be his greatest victory.
The doors to the throne room crashed open and everyone turned around to see the six Charmed ones walk into the room.
"You've got that right," Piper called staring at the monster that was going to ruin everything, he had already taken Prue from them and there was no way that she was going to allow him to win now.
A smile formed on the Source's face, it was just the beginning and he had no doubts that he would defeat them.
