Amelia took a deep breath as she balanced Aaron on her hip, she smiled down at her son as she shut the car door behind her and started to walk towards the house; she wanted nothing more than to relax after the day that she'd had.

Aiden was pushing them all hard to try and prepare for the final battle, he wasn't going to let the Source win and he wanted everything to be perfect for what he had planned even at the cost of everything around him.

Aiden was pushing everyone away and Leah still hadn't told him that she was pregnant, she had recently found out that she was about five weeks gone; she was so happy and yet had no idea how to tell her husband.

Amelia quickly headed inside, she wanted to get Aaron down for his nap since they had been out all day; she was starting to get annoyed with her older brother, they needed help and he still refused to contact their cousins.

Amelia walked upstairs and headed into Aaron's room, she whispered softly to her son as she prepared him for bed; she didn't know what she would do if things didn't work out and she was forced to leave her family behind.

"Mummy loves you so much," Amelia whispered to Aaron, she gently settled him down and looked at him; she knew her brother was under a lot of pressure but she wasn't going to mess things up in any way for them.

Amelia watched Aaron while he slowly fell asleep, she wanted nothing more than to get help and to focus on her future; she wanted what she had seen in her vision quest and no one was going to take that away from her.

Amelia sighed shaking her head before she turned around and walked out of the nursery, she shut the door behind her and wanting nothing more than to forget for a few hours before Aiden found something else for her to do.

Amelia grumbled annoyed as the house phone started ringing, she didn't have to answer it to know that it was Aiden; she glared at the phone wishing that her brother would take a break before he tired himself out.

Amelia closed her brown eyes and wondered how Aiden could carry on like this, they were running on empty and they still had a battle to deal with yet; they weren't going to be able to cope if Aiden carried on the way that he was.

Amelia sighed in relief when the ringing stopped, she had barely sat down from doing some house work and she had spent most of her day listening to her brother as he forced them to prepare for the battle.

There was still no plan on how they were going to get to Italy, Amelia was sure that the Volturi would be waiting for them to attack and gathering vampires wouldn't be easy; no one was going to be willing to take on vampire royalty or the entire underworld.

"You can't ignore him forever," Paul said stepping into the living room, he looked at his fiancée amused and she was slowly getting annoyed with her older brother.

Paul didn't blame Amelia for getting annoyed with Aiden, he wasn't making things easy on them and he was driving the pack up the wall since they had to watch him force everyone to prepare for the coming battle with the Source.

"I just need a break," Amelia mumbled looking to Paul, she knew that she couldn't avoid Aiden and he would more than likely orb to her if she continued to ignore his phone calls but she wasn't going to change her mind.

Paul walked over to Amelia and wrapped his arms around his fiancée, he wanted nothing more than to take her mind off what was happening right now.

"It's going to be okay," Paul whispered to her holding her close wanting to help in some way, he hated that things were going like this and that she was forced to face all of this now.

Leah took a deep breath and walked into the living room, she wasn't surprised to see that the living room table was covered in potion books and papers; it was a regular thing for her to come home to now.

Leah shook her head and moved to clean up, she was tired of all of this and she wished that Aiden could see that this wasn't the answer to his problems; he was going to get himself killed before anything could happen.

Leah had no idea how she would break the news that they were expecting their first child; she wanted to tell him but how he was acting was putting her off.

Leah didn't think that Aiden would drop what he was doing and focus on their good news; instead he would only get worse and they were going to have to wait.

"What are you doing?" Aiden asked moving into the living room, he frowned watching his wife tidy the room; he wanted nothing more than to stop her before he lost what he had been doing.

Leah didn't look back at Aiden, she kept working wanting things to return to normal; she wasn't going to let this continue before she lost her husband to his own drive.

Aiden gritted his teeth as she continued to tidy around him, everything that he had worked on and that he had kept on working to help them win; he didn't know why no one could see what he was doing was for the greater good.

Amelia and Alicia complained about his work, they didn't seem to understand that things were worse than they thought; they would lose if something wasn't done and Aiden couldn't let that happen.

Aiden wanted the future that he had planned out with Leah, that couldn't happen if the Source wasn't defeated and was left alone to ruin the Volturi.

Aiden walked across the room and stopped his wife from tidying up, he quickly started to put things back like they had been; she didn't understand and he wasn't going to let her mess this up.

Leah watched Aiden, she didn't know who this man was anymore but she knew he wasn't her husband; he wasn't the man that she had married, he ignored her and she feared this was just the start.

"I need to focus," Aiden muttered hoping that Leah would leave him alone, he wasn't going to stop until they had defeated the Source; he couldn't stop because no one else was going to pick up.

Leah watched him as tears started to blare her vision, she didn't want this and she wished that he could see that this was hurting her more than anything else in her life.

"I can't do this anymore," Leah whispered taking a deep breath, she didn't want to break down and cry when things weren't working out; they had only just gotten married and they had a baby coming in August the next year.

Aiden blinked turning to look at Leah, he stared at her wondering what she was talking about now; he hadn't asked her to do anything and he didn't know what to say right now.

Leah took a deep breath to steady herself, she had to do something and she wanted to take some space for herself; she feared that they wouldn't survive if she didn't do something now.

"I'll be staying with my mother until you snap out of this," Leah muttered turning and walking out of the room, she didn't look back at her husband knowing that she needed to pack a bag.

Aiden watched his wife leave, he didn't know what to say about her decision; he sat down on the couch wondering if he had pushed her too far.
