Part Two - Chapter Twenty-Nine: The Battle

Alice turned on her heel and charged towards Jane who was standing in the middle of the field furious at the sudden loss of her brother.

Alice watched in horror as Jane started to turn her power on those around her before she glanced at Bella, who nodded at her as she continued on her way to destroy Jane.

Alice smirked at her before she attempted to use her ability against Alice, however she paused as she comprehended that it wasn't working and looked at Bella before she realised that she was in a lot of trouble.

Jane quickly turned on her heel as she attempted to escape since she knew that she wasn't very good at hand to hand combat and she wouldn't stand a chance against Alice now that Bella had stopped her power.

Jane tripped and fell to the floor making Alice smirk as she grabbed the scruff of the Volturi's coat and dragged her forward to wear Sam was approaching them; in his jaws hung a hand of another vampire.

Jane stared at him in fear as Alice threw her forward and allowed the wolf to attack her; he had wanted revenge for her part in Jacob's death and he knew that his friend would be proud.

Caius watched in horror as the second of the prized guard was lost, he pursed his lips in annoyance as he continued to fight among the Volturi guard against the Cullens and their allies until he felt a hand on the back of his neck and a shock of electricity ran through him.

Collapsing to his knees, Caius stared up in horror as he looked at Kate who was using her power of psychic electrokinesis; he knew that this was revenge for what he had done to her sister.  

Tanya smirked walking towards her sister followed by Garrett, she grabbed a hold of Caius's jaw before she tore apart his head; she knew it wouldn't bring back Irina but it made her feel a lot better after what he had done.

Marcus stood in the field watching the destruction around him before a smile formed on his face as he spread out his arms; he whispered his mate's name as Vladimir and Stefan tore him apart so he could finally be at peace.

Benjamin slammed his hands into the ground and pulled it apart knowing that if he didn't do something then they would all be lost.

Alicia glanced at Aiden who shrugged before the ground around them started to shake and collapse to create a gorge; the two siblings hurried out of the way knowing that if they didn't move then they would fall to their deaths like several of the Volturi guard had.

Esme struggled under the weight of one of the guard as he pulled her back towards the edge of the gorge, she stumbled back over the edge as she grabbed a hold of the wall and wondered if this was it for her.

Leah struggled against the three Volturi guards that were all around her, her blue wolf eyes locked on Esme before she charged forward to help the Cullen matriarch by pulling the other vampire from her.

Esme pulled herself to safety just in time to see Leah fall to her death, the she wolf howled her goodbye making Aiden lurch forward as he watched his fiancée fall to her death.

"Leah!" Aiden screamed as his two sisters held him back, he watched as she disappeared into the burning hell below making tears form in his eyes as he pushed Alicia and Amelia away; his blue eyes quickly found Aro before he charged towards the Volturi leader in anger.

Aro smirked stepping away from the guards that protected him and allowed the witch to attack him; he moved with ease knowing that anger and grief clouded not only Aiden's mind but would tamper with his powers.

"You just couldn't walk away when Alice came could you," Aiden spat punching at Aro, he was having trouble summoning his powers and he knew that it had something to do with the fact that his emotions were affecting them.

However Aro suddenly stopped fighting and smirked as he stared over Aiden's shoulder, his red eyes gleamed before he shoved his hand through his chest and ripped out his heart.

Aro smiled gleefully as Aiden collapsed to the ground while he was left holding his heart in his hand before he crushed it knowing that the two sisters had seen.

Paul snarled staring at Aro, he couldn't believe that this dictator thought that he could do that and get away with it; he stalked forward before he saw Demetri heading towards Amelia.

The silver wolf turned and charged towards the vampire knowing that he couldn't lose his fiancée and imprint, he had seen what it had done to Aiden and Leah and he wasn't going to let that happen to them.

Paul tackled Demetri to the floor and started to wrestle with him as Amelia stopped and stared in horror at what was happening.

Amelia felt her heart leap into her throat as Alicia continued on with the battle, she knew that she couldn't lose Paul like this not when everything between them was going so well.

However luck didn't seem to be on her side as Demetri grabbed a hold of Paul's neck and with one quick twist, the silver wolf stopped moving.

Amelia stared on in horror before she blasted Demetri away from Paul and hurried to his side as tears filled her eyes and Edward charged forward to deal with the Volturi guard.

"Paul please," Amelia whispered dropping down to his side, her fingers brushing through his fur as she waited for some sort of response; however she knew that she would never get one.

Amelia stared for a moment before she pushed herself to her feet and looked at Demetri had destroyed by Edward; who was already heading off to help his wife who was being overpowered.

"Lia we need to move," Alicia urged moving towards her sister, she looked at her worried what she would do especially since she was eight weeks pregnant and this wasn't going to be good for her now that she had lost Paul like she had.

"I need to finish this, you distract Aro so I can get behind him," Amelia murmured pushing away her sister's concern, she wanted to avenge her fiancé in some form and she knew that Aro needed to be stopped. Amelia needed to make things right for Paul and get her revenge.

Alicia stared at her worried before she separated from her sister and hurried towards Aro, who had now entered the battle; he was furious about all the losses that he had suffered so far.

Alicia produced an energy ball and threw it at Aro so that she could catch his attention, she swallowed hoping that Amelia had some sort of plan since she worried that she would lose her like she had lost Aiden.

Aro hissed furiously before he changed his attention to Alicia before he found himself knocked to the floor, he looked confused as he suddenly found it difficult to move; he frowned as Amelia approached him with a dark look in her brown eyes.

Aro suddenly felt a horrible feeling crawling through his body, as the furious Charmed one approached him.

"This is for all the pain and suffering that you have caused," Amelia said placing her hands on either side of Aro's head and allowed all the emotions that she had felt that day channel through her.

The brunette closed her eyes as the emotions charged through her and produced a light from her hands as she allowed them to pass to Aro.

The Volturi leader stared in horror as the intense feelings rushed through his body, his red eyes stared lifelessly as he felt the immense power channel through him before he felt his body bring pulled apart.
