"How about we order some pizza and watch a movie?" Paul suggested stepping into their home, they needed to relax after the last few days and he was glad that they were finally home.

Amelia nodded her head making her boyfriend grin before he sent her into the living room while he went into the kitchen to order some pizza for them; it had been a long time since they'd been able to relax.

Amelia ran a hand through her hair as she moved into their living room, she couldn't believe that they had been together for eight months now; she hadn't even told Paul about what she had seen on her vision quest.

"I ordered one medium margarita and a large meat feast," Paul called pleased with himself walking into the living room, he raised an eyebrow at Amelia who had been deep in thought about what she had seen on her vision quest.

Paul had never been able to find out about what she had seen and she only ever smiled whenever he asked her about it.

"What do you want to watch?" Amelia asked sitting down on the couch and slipped off her ankle boots, she couldn't believe how long it had been since she'd been able to relax like a normal teenager; it would be a long time again before she could again.

Paul sat down next to his girlfriend, she was hiding something from him; he knew that it was related to the vision quest but he hadn't pushed her on what she had seen.

"I'm fine with whatever you want to watch," Paul murmured shrugging as his dark brown eyes watched her, she swallowed and nodded her head she didn't know what it was but she couldn't shake the feeling that something was going to happen between them.

Nibbling on her slice of pizza, Amelia rolled her brown eyes watching Paul started his seventh slice; she was often amazed with how much he could eat in one sitting.

"I don't know how you do that," Amelia mused looking at her boyfriend, he chuckled as he looked at her before he ate finished off his slice; the movie was playing quietly in the background but neither of them were really watching it.

"It's part of being a wolf Lia," Paul teased leaning forward and kissed her softly, the brunette laughed softly as she wrapped her arms around his neck; Paul made a soft noise as he suddenly became torn between his grumbling stomach and his girlfriend.

"You want to finish the pizza don't you?" Amelia asked softly as a smile filled her face amused at her boyfriend, who suddenly looked like a confused puppy since he was torn between what to choose; the brunette pushed herself back making him grin at her.

"That right there, is why I love you," Paul announced before he started to eat the next slice of pizza, Amelia rolled her eyes as she climbed off the couch and watched him for a moment.

"I'm going to get changed," Amelia said making Paul nod his head as he eyed the rest of the pizza, she laughed as she left the room and headed upstairs knowing that when she returned he would have finished the two pizzas.

Amelia entered their bedroom and sighed spotting the clothes that Paul had left on the floor; shaking her head, she moved around the room picking the clothes up until she reached a set of Paul's worn old jeans that he'd had for a while.

Amelia often wondered why he still wore them but he went through a lot of clothes because of phasing.

Just as Amelia picked up the jeans, a small black box fell onto the floor out of the pocket making her furrow her brow before she carefully moved to put the dirty clothes in the washing basket that sat by the door before she moved to pick the box up.

Carefully opening the box, Amelia choked seeing what was inside of it and moved to sit on the edge of the king size bed that she shared with her boyfriend of eight months.

"I should have figured that you'd find it sooner or later," Paul said stepping into the room, he had heard something drop on the floor and had known without a doubt that she had found the box.

Amelia looked at him speechless as she tried to wrap her head around what she was holding in her hands; she couldn't believe that he had something like this and she hadn't seen it.

"It belonged to my Grandmother, she gave it to me before she passed away last summer. She said that when I found my imprint that I shouldn't waste a moment with her," Paul explained carefully taking the box from Amelia, he could see that she was shocked about the fact that he had an engagement ring.

Paul bit his lip as he slowly sank down onto one knee knowing that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Amelia; the brunette tried to stop herself from hyperventilating, she suddenly felt faint and was glad that she hadn't seen this coming.

"I had planned to ask you at Christmas," Paul mused smiling up at her, he didn't think he could wait now that she had found the ring; he didn't know how else to ask her and he had been thinking about it for a while now.

"Amelia Elizabeth Matthews, you are my soul mate, the one person in this crazy world that was meant for me and I don't know what I would ever do if I couldn't call you mine; will you marry me?" Paul asked holding the box open so that she could see the 18ct white gold sapphire and diamond engagement ring.

Paul looked up at her with his big brown eyes that made Amelia's heart just melt as tears filled her eyes and she nodded her head; she truly couldn't believe this and she knew that it was a step towards the future that she had seen while on her vision quest.

"Yes," Amelia whispered softly making Paul grin as he took the ring from its box and slipped it onto her finger, the brunette wrapped her arms around his neck as she kissed him as she started to cry making Paul chuckle.

In the eight months since he had imprinted on her and became her boyfriend, he had known that what they had was special; he just couldn't wait to start his future with her.

"You're not meant to cry Lia," Paul teased softly kissing her, she nodded her head as she rested her head against his, she couldn't believe that they were engaged; she allowed him to kiss her again as a smile filled her face.

Amelia was all too aware that there were things that they did need to talk about, she wanted the future that she had seen and she was going to have to fight for it.

Amelia wanted the future that she had seen in her vision quest, she wanted the three children and she wanted Paul more than anything that she had wanted before in her life.

"Why don't we celebrate?" Amelia whispered pulling back from her fiancé slightly, she chewed on her lip knowing that they wouldn't get chance to later on since they had so much happening right now.

Paul nodded his head eagerly, he grinned as Amelia moved to unbuckle his belt as if reading his mind on what he wanted; they hadn't been intimate since the week before when they were in Cairo looking for vampires.

Kissing her fiancé, Amelia couldn't help but smile knowing that everything would work out; she didn't care how it happened, she wasn't going to let the Volturi win and steal away the future that she had seen herself have.

Paul brushed his fingers through her long brown hair, he didn't care about what anyone else thought.
