"Aunt Piper," Aiden hissed attempting to stop his cousin from over feeding him and his girlfriend, he was sorely regretting bringing Leah to meet the original Power of Three; he had only done it because his girlfriend of seven months had asked to meet his family.

Leah stifled a laugh as Piper set more food on the coffee table, she was shocked at how welcoming the former Charmed ones were to her and she knew that was because of how much Aiden loved her.

"Look what I found," Phoebe cooed walking into the living room carrying a photo album, she ignored the look of horror on Aiden's face as she walked straight passed him and headed for Leah.

Paige chuckled knowing that their cousin would never bring another girlfriend home to them after this, she doubted that there would be anyone after Leah; the couple were very much in love.

"Aunt Phoebe no," Aiden whined trying to stop her, he really didn't want Leah seeing any of those pictures of him; he couldn't believe that his father had given her the photo album and allowed her to do this.

Leah smoothed out her coral instant dress with wrap detail and zips that she had paired with black ankle boots; she had wanted to look her best when it came to meeting her boyfriend's 'aunts'.

"So I was thinking of doing turkey and sweet leek pie for dinner tonight," Piper announced looking at Aiden, she wanted to know how much to make incase her cousin had any dinner plans with Leah; she knew they had come to San Francisco for a reason and they had work to do.

Aiden looked at Leah knowing that tonight, they had plans on tracking down Garrett to get his help; they couldn't waste any time even if they had come to see his family.

Walking through the streets of San Francisco, Leah smiled as Aiden passed her his jacket so that she could stay warm; it was getting late now and they had just enjoyed a romantic meal at Piper's restaurant.

"Where do you think he'll be?" Leah asked looking at her boyfriend as they walked down the streets; she had to admit that she was enjoying visiting his family and if she could ever leave the pack then she would want to move to San Francisco.

Leah knew that she hadn't put much thought into her future with Aiden, but she could really see them leaving somewhere like San Francisco; she loved the city and knew it still held a place in her boyfriend's heart, it was his home more than Forks was.

"If I know Garrett, he'll be hovering around the pier," Aiden mumbled wrapping an arm around Leah as they walked along the road towards the promenade.

Leah tilted her head confused as she wondered why the vampire would be hanging out at the pier in the middle of the evening.

It didn't take long for them to track down the pier where Garrett usually hung out; Leah wrinkled her nose as they disappeared from public sight and headed down to the dark and shady environment where Garrett would be hiding.

"Garrett," Aiden called looking around the dark, he hoped that after what had happened the last time they had seen Garrett that the vampire would be willing to help them.

The witch had been insistent that he be the one to come and speak with Garrett since he had been the one that had made a mess of things; he had been warned not to call Garrett by Amelia but he had gone and done it anyway when they were preparing for the newborn battle.

"Come on Garrett, we need your help," Aiden called again trying to spot the vampire, he knew that he was around here somewhere but he had a feeling that he'd make them wait before making himself known.

Leah wrapped her arms around herself, she could see why the vampire would hang around in a place like this; she wrinkled her nose knowing that Garrett couldn't be far.

"Now why would you need my help?" Garrett asked appearing out of the shadows, he raised an eyebrow at the sight of Leah before he turned his attention to Aiden; he had never really gotten on with the male witch and wondered why he had been the one to come to find him.

Garrett had assumed that the next time that his help was needed that Amelia would be the one to come for him; she was his friend and he still cared for her, knowing things that not even her dear brother knew about her.

"Carlisle needs your help. Something has happened," Aiden explained making the vampire look at him, he knew that they wouldn't be here if it wasn't something serious; Garrett wondered what could have happened this time to make them come and find him.

"Would you be willing to come back to Forks with us? It would be easier to show you," Leah asked moving to stand next to her boyfriend, her brown eyes watching the vampire knowing that they needed his help and they needed more vampires to agree to come back to Forks.

Garrett looked between the couple as he tilted his head; he furrowed his brow wondering what could be happening and why Amelia hadn't come for him, she only had to ask and he would be there for her.

Standing in his throne room, Aro frowned watching Irina as she looked around in disgust; she didn't like being in the heart of the Volturi's home but she was doing the right thing.

Irina had known from the moment that she set eyes on the immortal child that had been with Bella Cullen that she had to come and tell the Volturi; she had rushed away knowing that they must be punished for what they had done.

"I hear that my dear friend Carlisle is building an army," Aro mused making Irina look at him; she stared wondering why Carlisle would risk standing against the Volturi especially when a member of his coven had done something so wrong.

It was Edward's mate that had made the mistake of creating an immortal child and now the entire family was endangered; she wished that she could have found another way around this but after what had happened to her mother, she was a purist to the vampire rules.

Irina closed her golden eyes as she thought of Sasha and the monster that she had created; it was only by sheer luck that the entire Denali coven hadn't been killed.

Irina and her sisters had never thought of Vasilii as a brother, even if Sasha had seen him as her son; they hadn't even known that he existed until they had watched him burn in Sasha's arms as the Volturi destroyed the both of them.

"Then we must prepare for a battle brother, Carlisle cannot be allowed to get away with his disregard for our rules," Caius replied looking at Aro, who nodded his head; they both knew that this was far too easy.

Irina opened her eyes realising that this could only end in the destruction of the Olympic coven; she had never thought that she would see this happen again, another coven destroyed because of an immortal child.

Aro smirked peeking over to Irina, she didn't know that she has given him the perfect excuse to acquire the gifted vampires of Carlisle's coven; he had been waiting for this moment for a long time and it had finally come.
