What happened to Troy?
PS: I'm not a medical professional and I've only written about all these things after reading about it from Google. If there is any mistake, please let me know and I will correct it.

Lucille and Jack were sitting together in the hospital room while Gabriella and Kelsi had gone to get something to eat from the vending machine.
They hadn't heard anything about Troy yet and since all of them had skipped lunch the girls volunteered to get something for them all to eat.
Gabriella had called up her mother and explained everything that had happened and thankfully her mother understood her worries.
Lucille says, "What is taking the doctors so long? I want to know if my baby is okay."
Jack replies, "I'm sure that the doctors will come to tell us as soon as they can."
The girls return with some snacks followed by a doctor.
The doctor calls out, "Family for Troy Bolton"
Lucille quickly stands up and says, "I'm his mother. What happened to my son?"
The doctor sighs and replies, "Troy has suffered from a condition called 'Stress Cardiomyopathy' which is commonly known as the 'Broken Heart Syndrome'. The symptoms are similar to a heart attack, but it is actually caused by stressful situations and extreme emotions. It's a temporary condition where a part of the heart is affected which disrupts the heart's normal functioning."
Lucille gasps while the doctor continues, "We can treat it easily by ensuring that Troy doesn't get too stressed otherwise I'll have to prescribe him some medication. And I also noticed that he looked a bit pale and weak."
Jack replies, "Troy hasn't been eating well for over a week now. He had a bit of a falling out with his friends and since then he's not had much of an appetite."
The doctor nods and says, "I understand but he will have to eat properly if he wants to get better soon."
Lucille asks, "Can we see him?"
The doctor replies, "He's still unconscious right now but you can wait in his room. Now if you don't have any more questions I need to check up on my other patients as well."
Lucille says, "Thank you so much, Doctor"
The doctor replies, "I'm just doing my job ma'am"
With that, the doctor walks away and a nurse comes to take them to Troy's room.

Lucille enters the room and takes a seat next to the bed holding her son's hand.
She felt relieved to see that her son was alright.
Lucille had been terrified when she received the call from Kelsi telling her that Troy had fainted in school and was being taken to the hospital.
She rushed to the hospital to find Gabriella who told her that Troy had been taken in and that they would have to wait for the doctor.
She had been waiting since then to find out what exactly had happened to Troy.
Lucille turns to Kelsi and Gabriella and asks, "Can you girls tell me exactly what happened? How did Troy faint in the first place?"
Jack adds, "I would like to know the details as well"
