How will Troy and Chad's next conversation go?

Finally, it was Monday morning and Lucille was hoping that after talking to Gabriella today, Troy might feel better.
Kelsi had told her about her chat with Gabriella and Lucille dearly hoped the two young lovers would finally clear the air and move forward.
She was really optimistic about what she hoped would occur.

Troy, on the other hand, felt even more stressed and down than he did on Friday.
Now that the championship game was out of the way, he had nothing left to distract him.
Troy couldn't get Gabriella out of his head no matter how much he wanted to.
He reminded himself to keep away from her, no matter how much he disliked the idea.
Troy refused to hurt the girl he loved more than he already had.
Another thing stressing Troy out was the inevitable conversation with Chad.
The rest of the team might give him some space after the conversation in the locker room, but not Chad.
His former best friend still didn't understand him so there was bound to be yet another argument.
He was tired of trying to explain to his former best friend that there was more to life than basketball.

Troy got ready and made his way downstairs knowing that there was no point in trying to delay the inevitable.
Troy couldn't escape the possible conversation he might have with Chad in school, nor could he avoid Gabriella to save his heart from being broken.
He ate a small amount of food for breakfast because his appetite was still non-existent.
Troy could feel the worried looks his parents were shooting in his direction, but he just couldn't bring himself to care about that.
He had been avoiding Kelsi as well because he just didn't know how to talk about everything.
He wasn't even sure about how he was feeling let alone being able to explain it to anyone.

Jack drove both him and his son to school.
Since the ambush, Troy had preferred to be driven to school by his father than sit anywhere near his selfish teammates.
Troy remained silent the whole way.
They reached East High and Jack pulled into his parking spot before turning to face Troy.
Jack says, "I know you don't want to talk but if you have any problems you can come to my office. I know that Chad will try to talk to you because we refused to let him in our house. If he bothers you too much, just come into my office and let me know okay."
Troy nods in acknowledgement and leaves his father's car.
Jack sighs and walks to his office hoping Troy would trust him enough to accept help.
