Satisfied: The Hangover Part II (Phil Wenneck)

Prologue

Now a days, laying in bed was (Y/n)'s favorite thing to do. Especially when she was wrapped in the arms of the man she had come to love after a night of Las Vegas madness that they can't even remember. It was an early morning, and she and Phil lay together, tangled in each others arms as they slept soundly, not ready for the day to begin just yet. All of a sudden, a phone call from both of their phones rang through their room, jerking the both of them from their sleep.

(Y/n) blinked her eyes opened and exhaled, keeping her bare torso under the blanket as she started to wake up, her tattoo dragon head able to be seen just above the sheets. "What the fuck..." she heard Phil mumble as he reached to the nightstand to grab his charging phone.

"Who would be calling both of us this early?" she grumbled as she reached to her side of the bed, getting her own phone from the nightstand. Looking at the contact, she saw it was Lauren, Stu's girlfriend. She was an insanely nice person, and made Stu twenty times happier when he was with her. (Y/n) had automatically liked Lauren, and the two of them quickly became friends over the course of the two years that her and Stu were together. Tapping the answer button on her phone as she heard Phil answer his own phone, she put it up to her ear and said, "Hello?"

"(Y/n)! He proposed! Stu proposed to me!!" she heard Lauren shrieking in joy, making her pull her phone away form her ear. When she finally took in what she said, (Y/n) sat up in her bed at the same time Phil sat up straighter from the edge of the bed.

"He did??" she said in excitement, a grin spreading across her face. Stu had been talking about proposing to Lauren for a long time now, and they had all been super supportive of his decision. Anything was better than Melissa, really, who Stu had dumped at Doug's wedding after three years of torment, but Lauren was an actual nice person, and was happy whenever she was with Stu. "Please tell me you said yes."

"She said yes?? That's fucking awesome, man!" (Y/n) heard Phil shout out after she spoke, and turned back to her phone call with a small laugh.

"Never mind. Phil just confirmed it. Congratulations, Lauren, I'm so happy for you!" (Y/n) gushed, pulling the comforter tighter around herself as she got situated beside Phil, who was leaning back onto the headboard of their bed.

"I can't believe it, (Y/n). I love him so much and I just cannot wait to marry him," Lauren continued, making the smile on (Y/n)'s face grow. No one loved Stu the way Lauren did.

"I'm so glad. Seriously, Lauren, you are so good for him, and you make him so happy from what he tells us. I can't wait to see married life between you two," (Y/n) said.

"Thank you, (Y/n). And, I was hoping you'd like to be one of my bridesmaids at the wedding?" Lauren asked, and (Y/n) dropped her mouth. She knew she and Lauren were becoming close, but she never expected to be one of the bridesmaids.

"Yes, I would love to!" (Y/n) replied, and heard Lauren laugh over the phone.

"I'd better go. I need to call my parents and tell them, although I don't know if my dad will be too happy," Lauren said, and (Y/n) could hear the worry over the phone.

"Hey, It's gonna be all right. Your parents are gonna love Stu as a son-in-law. Just wait. He'll surprise them," (Y/n) assured, and Lauren gave a little breath of nervousness.

"I certainly hope so. I'll talk to you later, let you get back to Phil. Bye."

"Bye, Lauren," (Y/n) said, and cancelled the call.

Looking over at Phil, he was finishing up his call with Stu, who was clearly ecstatic about the entire proposal. "Well, congratulations, Stu. She's a great woman, be proud of yourself. I will. All right, bye." Phil hung up the call and put his phone back onto the dresser before looking over at his girlfriend, a cheeky smile on his face. "He finally grew some balls and proposed."
