There was about 30 people, each from all four houses sitting around the inn as they looked at Hermione, Harry, and Ron who stood in the front of the room. I stood just behind Ron leaning against the wall as I surveyed the entire Inn. Just to be safe, this meeting alone could get us into all kinds of trouble so they're couldn't be any leaks.

"Hi everyone, I-we thought it would be good if we met and talked over how we all wanted to actually learn Defense Against the Dark Arts this year." Hermione started but she paused looking around the room so Ron picked up where she left off.

"Right, because we need to learn it, and we can't do anything with the rubbish Umbrige is doing."

"Hear, Hear!" Fred exclaimed raising his cup of tea that he acquired from who know where.

"Obviously, this will help us pass our O.W.L.s but more importantly, it will give us the ability to protect ourselves from...Lord Voldemort." Hermione continued and everyone gasped at the mention of the dark wizards name.

"That's the first time I've ever heard you say his name." Harry whispered to her as she smiled softly with a nodded looking absolutely pleased with herself.

"How do we know You-Know-Who's really back?" Zacharias Smith asked with an unimpressed look on his face.

"Dumbledore believes he is." George replied immediately.

"You mean Dumbledore believes Him?" Justin Finch-Fletchley corrected pointing at Harry.

"If Potter could tell us more about how Diggory got killed then maybe-"

"That's enough Corner. You're being insensitive, you don't have to believe Harry but don't be an asshole about it. Anyone else have anything smart to say?" I snapped and he rolled his eyes but said nothing else. I nodded to Hermione after a beat of silence and she started to speak again.

"I really do think we are straying from the purpose of-"

"It's okay, Mione." Harry muttered looking at her and she nodded so he turned to address the crowd.

"I believe Voldemort is back because I fought him last year. I fought him in that graveyard, which Dumbledore has already told the school. You don't have to believe me, but if you don't believe him...you probably wouldn't believe anyone." Harry sighed as his statement was followed by a tense moment of silence as everyone looked around at each other as if waiting for someone to say something.

"Well... um anyway. I think that in order to properly learn the subject we'll need a teacher. An a good one, one that can help us." Hermione said awkwardly.

"But we're all students, none of us have that kind of experience. We wouldn't even know where to begin." Neville countered and he had a bit of a point. We were students, children. Getting ready for a fight that started years before most of us were born.

"Well I could think of someone." Ginny spoke up and everyone looked at her to see she was looking at Harry and Harry was looking at me.

"No." I muttered shaking my head at him immediately.

"Come on Effy, you have more skills than anyone here." Harry insisted.

"I don't fight with magic. I couldn't teach you the first thing about it, but you on the other hand. You're like over qualified for this." I said looking at Harry when Michael Corner spoke up drawing everyone's attention to him.

"I'd like to know why Potter would be any more qualified than the rest of us."

"Well, for starters he is the only one who has confronted You-Know-Who four times and lived to talk about it." Draco said defensively.
