Effy's POV
I was running as fast as my feet could carry me as I rushed through the castle. I didn't know where I was going but it was like a magnet was pulling me towards something. I looked up at the sky as I ran across one of the many stone bridges, to see the shield was beginning to break.
You need more time
A voice hissed inside my head. It was my own, like I was warning myself so I stopped running and raised my arms above my head.
"Protego Maxima...Protego Maxima." I whispered as golden streams of electricity shot from my palms, and the shield began to seal its back together. I repeated the incantations a few times, well aware that it would probably reveal that I was alive but that's a problem for later I guess.
"Holy Shit." I heard an I turned to see Lee, Angelina, Fred, and George standing there with wide eyes.
"My baby!" Lee exclaimed before running forward and hugging me. I tensed at first but quickly hugged him back as three sets of arms wrapped around us. At the sound of a loud explosion we all looked up to see the blue protective shield beginning to crack as strands of golden electricity attempted to hold it together. But it was sure to fall any moment.
"When this is over, you have some explaining to do." Fred commented an I nodded so he kissed my forehead before he ran off with Angelina who had done the same thing.
"Be careful alright?" Lee asked me an I smiled.
"Always am." I commented hugging him and George on more time before running off.

Third Person POV
Outside the Shield (Same Time^)
Voldemort stares in a mixture of shock, anger, and horror and the shield seals itself with an golden electric glow.
"Impossible! She's dead!" Bellatrix screeched believing this to be the work of Persefoni Romanoff. However before anyone could comment further Voldemort raised his wand, the elder wand in the air and with a loud thunderous rumble the sky turns white for a moment. Then everything seems frozen as the shield begins to crack again but it's held together by yellow strands of electricity.

The Wooden Bridge (Same Time^)
Neville who now stood beside Ginny and Seamus all looked up at the shield in confusion.
"You don't think-"
"Impossible. She's...she's gone." Ginny said cutting off Neville's unfinished questions however a glimmer of hope flashes in her eyes.
"It was anonymously reported...I'm just saying she could be...right?" Seamus asked after a moment when a thunderous boom was heard and the sky flashed white.
"I'm starting to think anything is possible right about now." Ginny mumbled looking at the cracking shield that was being healed together with burnt orange looking electricity.

The Courtyard (Same Time^)
McGonagal stood frozen as she looked at the shield with teary eyes.
"It can't be..." Molly gasped tearfully as she placed her hand over her mouth.
"But who else has the power?" Flitwick commented however the hopeful smile on his face revealed that felt the same way Molly was feeling as a thunderous boom was heard and the sky flashed white.
