I had a whole bunch of rings that I wanted to used as Effy's engagement/wedding ring. Like with Ultra Violet I wanted it to be a ring that kind of went along with the character's aesthetic but wasn't to 'promise ring' vibes. I also really happen to love going against the traditional diamond rings when you get married. Citrine also happens to be one of my favorite gemstones ever so this works.
