Spencer had been slightly annoyed all day.
He was annoyed with his dad just dropping some kid into his life with no warning.
He was annoyed with the way said 'kid' was staring at Frankie.
And he was especially annoyed with the way Frankie seemed to be looking back at him.
The moment Frankie and her fathers finally left was bittersweet for Spencer.
On one hand, he wouldn't get to see her until tomorrow, and he knew he'd miss her like crazy, but on the other hand, the sooner she left his house, the quicker this Jake kid would stop gawking at her.
He'd been doing it during the entire course of lunch and even after everyone had left, Spencer was still fuming.
He was now in his room, spinning around in his desk chair, his head cocked back as he stared at his cloud-painted ceiling, thinking back to lunch and how it seemed like all Jake could do was stare at Frankie.

"And, every Sunday, we all have 'family dinner' together-- either here, at the Roberts', or one of our favorite restaurants, Melo's. Ever heard of it?"
Vince's question was directed towards Jake, but he hadn't really heard it. He'd been trying his best to focus, but the girl sitting across from him was just way too damn distracting.
Even at that moment, just the look on her face as she bit her tongue, reaching over to grab some grilled bulgogi to make another lettuce wrap on her plate. Frankie was on her 6th wrap and Jake couldn't help but watch her lips as they wrapped around the wrap.
"Jake?"
"Hmmm?"
His bright blue eyes were wide and kinda glazed over when he finally turned to look at Vincent.
Vincent chuckled a little to himself, seeming to recognize the look in the young man's eyes.
"I asked if you had ever heard of Melo's."
