The Saturday after everyone returned from their trip, Frankie found herself in her kitchen with her fathers, showing them pictures from the epic vacation.

"And this was the little restaurant Spence and I went to one day... they had thee best shrimp cocktails ever. Even better than that place in Cancun we went to a few years ago."

Jeff and Dustin shared a smile before glancing over at their daughter, still floating on air as she reminisced about her trip. Dustin cleared his throat before setting his coffee on the counter, ready to address his daughter.

"Well, we're glad you had fun, Pumpkin. But, now it's time to buckle down. I mean, there are only a few weeks left until graduation, acceptance letters will be coming in soon: you need to focus, okay? School over boys and—"

Frankie smiled and shook her head, slightly rolling her eyes as she cut her father off.

"Don't worry, Dad. Spencer and I—"

"Spencer, huh?"

It was at that moment that Frankie noticed the inquisitive smirks on both her fathers' faces, causing her to roll her eyes once more as Jeff spoke again.

"So... that's like... what, a thing, now?"

She let out a long, drawn out breath before biting her lip and smiling.

"Yes, okay? Me and Spencer are dating."

"See, Babe. Told you."

Frankie's jaw dropped in an over-dramatic fashion, scoffing as she looked at Jeff, then Dustin, then back at Jeff with a questioning look on her face.

"Told you what?"

Dustin chuckled, steeping his tea bag before a playful chuckle left his lungs.

"Your father and I both have doctoral degrees, babygirl. We're not dumb. 'You and Spencer' were a thing we've been noticing since you were babies... Just took this long for you two to catch up.. and it's not like we didn't notice the two of you when you got off your flight."

Frankie let out a content huff, thinking about how she and Spencer have been perceived the past years, and before she could respond, Dustin delivered the words that would ring in her head for months.

"Just, no grand-babies, yet, okay? Not for a few years at least. I'm not trying to be a 'hot-papa' anytime soon."
