You slowly fade into consciousness. Your head starts feeling hazy like you've just been hit by an anvil like one of those cartoons you used to watch as a kid. You didn't realize it till now when your hands try to rub your head to wake yourself up that you were tied down to a chair. The rope around your arms looks thick and when you start tugging at it, it feels pretty strong; one tug did little to no effect. There was no point in struggling out of this.

"Mhmm-" You stop yourself mid word when you realize that you also couldn't speak. Your mouth was duct taped. You didn't like the idea of being tied up in an ominous room. The interior had undertones of red and in front of you was a table that had various tools on it. You hear a door behind you open and footsteps approaching you.

"Oh you're finally awake." You hear the familiar voice of John. He walks into your view. You show little to no emotions as you just look at him. Though on the inside you couldn't stop the constant flow of panic, you weren't going to show weakness like that. "You are taking this quite calmly." You would have responded if your mouth wasn't taped shut. Instead you simply attempt to shrug your shoulders with the little mobility you had tied up. If you seem calm to John he would see that you saw no threat to him and maybe start believing you. You hope that would be the case. John flicks on the light in front of you, making you quickly shut your eyes from the sudden bright light.

"Great, you're still reactive." John says mockingly, "Too bright?" You exhale audibly almost like a sigh. You watch John chuckles to himself as he heads to the table with the various tools going through them looking for specific things. You try your best to maneuver around to try and see what he was doing. The thought of you not knowing what was going to happen to you scared you causing you to silently gulp. You give up seeing there was no point in trying to see what he was doing since his body was blocking your view from seeing anything. You watch him turn around and you settle in your seat again. John leans against the table in a condescending way. You both stare at each other before you break eye contact and look somewhere else, his icy blue eyes made you feel uncomfortable.

"Do you know what my trademark word is?" John says, smiling at you. The smile made you sink into your seat out of fear, what was he going to do to her. What could he be plotting? "What I tell my followers to go by?" You revert your attention back to John. Giving him a look. A look that read 'I can't respond when my mouth is taped shut.' You shrug admitting that you didn't know what he was talking about.

"My saying is, The Power of Yes." John continues emphasizing yes when he speaks. You tilt your head a bit using body language to signal that you were thinking. "I keep on trying to find more things to say yes to. You see when I was young my parents took me into the kitchen and threw me to the floor..." John continues with his backstory and the more you listen the more you somewhat feel bad for John. It sounded like he came from a household of abuse. Still this didn't excuse tying people up against their will and doing whatever he wanted with them.

"Now, let's begin shall we?" John says as he pushes himself off the table. You watch as he walks closer to you and you catch sight of a tattoo pen in his hand. Your eyes widen in fear at the pen as you start to try and look for any way out of this. Your eyes darting around the room panic plagues your mind and you impulsively start to move your hands around against the restraints that hold you in place. You were showing little signs of wanting to be out of the chair out of the room. John catches sight of the light struggle you were doing.

"Are you scared?" John says mockingly towards you. Your attention goes back to him and you stop moving, the panic subsiding as you mentally remind yourself that you need to go along with this to make him think you're for it. For him to actually start believing you. Your brain instinctively made you shake your head no, still trying to play this calm facade.
