You wake up feeling hazy once more. Just like before, your legs and hands were tied to a chair. Panic started to settle in and you were somewhat wiggling around. It wasn't until you heard footsteps you started to panic more. Did John get the upper hand and manage to get to you and trapped you once more. Were you going to be stuck here forever now? The lights around you turn off and you're left in the dark. Your heart sinks.
"Humanity as we know it has gone soft." You hear a voice but by the sound of it this voice didn't belong to John. A bright light turns on, almost blinding you in the process. You shut your eyes from the sudden light before opening it and seeing an image projected onto the wall of a wolf sinking its teeth into a deer. "Mankind has forgotten their animalistic urges." The voice continues and soon Jacob walks into your sights. You lightly calmed down, at least it wasn't John, still this was someone new and you didn't know what he does to people like you. What was his method of torture if he had any.
Jacob lectured you and a couple other people in the room about how humanity is weak and he must keep the strong and kill the weak. Maybe you were going to die this time around. You didn't consider yourself strong. The slides were just pictures of animals eating animals. If you were a teacher and this was a presentation you would rate it a 5/10. The slides were bland but his speech was pretty good. Jacob had approached your chair out of everyone else's and he leaned down looking into your eyes. You instinctively sunk into your seat.
"The strong must make it out alive so that we can make a society of only the strong. Not having to worry about the weak anymore." Jacob says to you. You nod out of impulse like you were agreeing. He smiled at you. It seemed he was glad to see you were agreeing with him. Or at least he thought you were. "Hope you're worthy enough for the trials." Jacob moves away from your chair and brings out a little box. Your eyes focus on him instead of the box as you watch him turn the little crank on the side. The box started to play a song and your brain instantly started to go haywire as emotions filled you.
You woke up in a red room, one similar to the one Jacob did his presentation in. A projector showing a slide of a wolf eating an animal. Two people sit watching the projector. In front of you lay a table with a pistol on it. As your eyes went to the gun the only thought in your head was to grab it. Almost like something was telling you to grab it. You knew deep down this wasn't your brain telling you to do it. It was a third party. Despite knowing all this you grab the gun anyways your next thoughts were to kill the two. You didn't know why this was happening to you and why these thoughts were flooding your brain.
You crouched down and slowly approached the people on the chair, if you were going to kill them you were going to do it unnoticed despite the pistol in your hand. In case there were more people you had to conserve ammo. So you did what was logical, you grab the first guy and strangle him to death before shooting the other guy who stood up with a shotgun in hand. The two faded as they died. You didn't think twice about that.
"Well done." A random voice that sounded familiar said. This alerted you slightly before your brain started telling you to move forward. You wander down the hall and spot another gun. You preferred the pistol in hand over it but still grabbed it and put it somewhere on you in case your pistol ran out of ammo. If it could run out of ammo. More men were in this room and for some reason your brain wanted you to take care of all of them. Even if they posed no threat or block to your exit. You shot all the men down with your pistol making sure you got them all.
"Good job." The voice said once more through the place. This satisfied you in a sickening way. You use context clues to guess that you get a compliment each time you kill everyone in the area. Something about the accomplishment and being recognized thrilled you to want to empty each room you walked into. You continued on and was given more guns but you still stuck to your pistols. If given the chance you would choke out the men when they didn't expect you. If they did you would quickly fire your pistol at them straight in the face so one bullet was enough per man.
