"Hey get up." You are shaken awake by Jacob. You were quick to snap awake feeling fuzzy in the head from the sudden awakening. "I have some stuff to do and I need you by me so I can keep a close watch on you." You were quick to get out of the little bed he made for you on the ground standing up straight. Jacob takes a good look at you before thinking.

"Here I'll give you some shoes to wear." Jacob says, you nod. Jacob quickly rushes out of the room leaving you in there. The thoughts of yesterday come back to your mind, the empty soulless face of Angelica pass your thoughts. Tears threaten to form but you try your best to brush it off. Jacob is back in no time with some socks and boots in his hands.

"These look your size." Jacob says as he hands them to you. You quickly put the socks and boots on standing once more once you're done. Jacob then walks out of the room and you follow close behind. "I have a couple of meetings to attend. You'll be attending them with me but don't think too much about it." You nod along to his words as you follow close to him.

It didn't take long for you two to arrive at one of his first of many other meetings. You didn't know this before but Jacob seemed like a pretty busy guy. You weren't one to eavesdrop but there was literally nothing else for you to do. Since all he had you do was stand in the corner of the room and pretend you didn't exist.

Jacob seemed pretty planned out and intact, he would coordinate good routes for his soldiers to travel and used some pretty good deduction skills to try and figure out where some rebels were hiding. Though there was one group name that constantly came up that Jacob seemed to hate.

The Whitetail Militia, a group that despite all of his deduction and men scouting they couldn't find them. But they could constantly find his men and it pissed him off. Seems he was still planning on ways to take care of them and their leader. After the fifth meeting in the same room he finally got up and walked out. You follow close behind him.

"Is that all your meetings?" You quietly ask him, it takes him a second to figure out what you said since you were so quiet. "What do we do now?"

"No, I still have one more." Jacob says as he walks outside and turns a quick right to walk towards a garage that holds a truck. "But it's not here." He quickly hops into the driver side of the car. You hop into the passenger side and get settled in. Seems the meeting wasn't in his area nor was it in John's or Faith's, it was held somewhere in the middle of it all. Jacob parks and the both of you leave the car and walk into a building entering an empty room. Seems you both were faster than the other people who were going to be in this meeting. Jacob takes a seat and you stand in a corner.

"You can join me this time." Jacob says as he turns to you, patting the seat next to him. You walk towards the seat about to sit before hearing the door opening and turning to it. The two figures who entered shocked you.

"John, you're here early." Jacob says from where he was sitting. John makes direct eye contact with you. You break the staring contest and instead look at Jessie. Some sort of feeling deep in you started to arise as you saw the two together. Maybe you just hated them both so much that seeing them together was too much for you. You turn away from the two and head to your seat about to sit.

"She's only with me because Joseph told me to bring her." John says, "I'm not that close to her if I'm being honest." Before you could sit Jacob stops you. standing up from his seat. He goes up to you before turning you around and putting his hands on both your shoulders. You were now facing John.

"Like what I did to her, John? She isn't disobedient as you said she was. Not anymore at least." Jacob says presenting you like some kind of achievement or trophy. John takes a closer look at you and you hated the unneeded direct eye contact he was giving you.
