"Wake up." You feel someone shake your body as you stir awake. Your vision still blurry as you grab ahold of the arms that were on your shoulder. You could only assume this action would be done to you by a close friend. The voice was manly and so you began to assume that it was one of your guy friends.

"Chris..." You start taking a guess as your voice shows signs of drowsiness in the room. "What is it this time?" It wasn't until your vision was clear and your thoughts start to run that you remember where you are and who this was. You quickly back up from the man.

"OH! Sorry." You apologize out of instinct. "I forgot where I was." You admit before sighing. It was John as he, for whatever reason, decided to wake you up for whatever reasons he had.

"I have some tasks for you to do." John says ignoring the fact you had mistaken him for one of your friends. "I will obviously be supervising you while you do them making sure you're putting your all." You look at him a little confused and concerned for yourself. What was he gonna make you do?

"Tasks?" You question. "I'm guessing this is to combat the sloth sin you gave me." You gesture to your chest to the words that resided on it. You watch John nod glad you were already understanding your duties.

"Yep, your problem is that you don't feel good enough about anything you do. So we work on helping you with your skills." John starts to explain, "Quickly get up and follow me." You, still a little drowsy from the sudden awakening, get out of bed, and follow John through the bunker you two were in. He had shown you a tour around, showing you where the shooting range and various other areas that the cultist would practice combat in and ways of survival. This puzzled you as you were wondering why he was doing all this.

"Now, your first task is," John takes you back to the shooting range, handing you a pistol. "We are going to practice your shooting, after that we'll train you to perfect your shooting skill no matter the gun. Close quarters combat no matter the melee and how you will survive no matter the terrain." You look at him with a questioning look.

"Why would I need to learn all of this?" You ask, "I thought we were doing stuff to combat my sloth sin. How is all this going to help me?" John grabs ahold of your shoulders causing you to flinch slightly.

"Well you see, with more skills you will feel more worth it. I'm assuming your siblings can't fire guns and whatnot." John says, "Can they?" He questions as he looks at you. You shake your head no.

"Not that I know of..." You say, that is one way to put it still why would you need to learn all this. Whatever you would have to if it meant you would be closer to John. Not that you wanted to be closer to John but becoming more closer to John would mean getting closer to your sweet escape.

"Let's get to work." John says, patting your shoulders down before walking off to sit on a chair not too far. "Also at the end of all this practicing I will test you and if you pass I'll let you leave." You smile at this fact. Though what would happen if you fail?

"And if I fail?" You question looking at him.

"Well I wouldn't really say you failed the atonement but I would take you to one of my other siblings to deal with." John says casually. You gulp at this knowledge, what if his siblings were just as sadistic as he was. You shook your head to clear your thoughts.

"So I'm guessing we're starting with a pistol then?" You quickly change the subject to the task at hand. John nods confirming your question.

"Yes, I'll start you with a new gun each day today will be the basics. Which in my opinion is a pistol." John explains to you. You nod looking at the pistol in your hands. You never had fired a gun in your life, the closest being in a shooting video game or a nerf gun. You had no idea what you were doing. "Okay go for it, show me what you know."
