Chapter 20- When worlds turn upside down

Baileys POV:
she was pacing up and down the Common Room. "why would she take them? does she know about the DA?" she asks Mattheo.

"i dont know Bailey. just try not to think about it. come here, for a second." Mattheo says, holding his hands out to her. Bailey walks over and sits on his lap, hugging him. he holds her close to him.

"theyll be ok. i promise. listen lets just talk. about anything. tell me about Sirius." Mattheo tells her.

"well he took me in off the streets in a muggle area of London and raised me like his own. he is literally one of the most important people to me ever. i dont know what id do without him." Bailey says, smiling as she thinks about him.

"he was extremely welcoming when i stayed with yous for christmas, despite who my parents are." Mattheo adds.

Bailey can tell that Mattheo just wants to keep her distracted so she wont be so worried about Harry and the others, so they go for a walk.

"Bailey!" someone yells from behind them. Hermione.

"Mione! what happened? wheres Umbridge? wheres the others?" Bailey asks, in a hurry.

"Umbridge was going to use the Cruciatus Curse on Harry, but i jumped in and said that Dumbledores secret weapon was in the woods, leading her out to Hagrids brother, Grawp and then the centors came and she offended them so they took her away. listen- Harry had a vision. Voldemort. he has Sirius, in the Department of Mysterys. we have to go, now." Hermione says, gasping for air. she grabs Baileys hand, Bailey grabbing Mattheo hand, and they all run off to where the others are.

Luna, Neville, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Bailey and Mattheo all fly on Thestrals to London. the group of students run to where Harry seen Voldemort torturing Sirius, but cant find him anywhere.

"he- he was right- here." Harry says in confusion. they were surrounded by isles upon isles of prophecies made by multiple witches and wizards over the many years. the group all look around where Harry said Sirius was, when they see this black smoke appear from in front of them.

"shit." Mattheo says, immediately pushing Bailey behind him. Lucius Malfoy appears. Bailey, was so scared for Sirius, she wasnt able to pay attention to what anyone was saying until, she heard a high pitch voice.

"he knows how to play! itty. bitty. baby. Potter." says the voice. Bailey feels Mattheo tense up, and she immediately makes the conection. Bellatrix Lestrange, Mattheos mum is here.

"Neville Longbottom?" she says, smirking when she recognises him. "hows mum and dad?" she teases.

"better now theyre about to be avenged!" Neville says, moving forward to stand his ground. Death Eaters, Voldemorts followers, surround the teenagers. they start casting spells at them. the group fight back. Bailey finally realises that Sirius isnt here. it was all just to get them here so they could do whatever Voldemort wanted them to do.

Mattheo refuses to leave Baileys side, even when his mam realised it was him and started calling him over.

"Bailey!" says a voice. she turns and sees Sirius. the Order of the Phoenix has arrived.

"Sirius! youre ok!" Bailey calls, smiling and running to him. Bailey stands next to Sirius, and Harry who had also ran up to them, fighting off the Death Eaters. the little family cast spells, defending themselves and each other against Voldemorts followers. she didnt even hear the spell being shouted. all she saw was a flash of green coming from behind her. she turned to look at the sender. Bellatrix. Mattheos mum. Bailey turns her head back round and sees the spell hit Sirius. he makes eye contact with her. there was an archway behind him. Sirius is lifted off the ground, and he fades in between the arch way. Bailey freezes. Lupin, who was standing next to Harry when it happened immediately grabs him as Harry tries to run forward to get him, grab him, bring him back. anything.
