Baileys POV:
Bailey wakes up in the morning, around 9am. she walks down the stairs to the common room. there she sees Mattheo and Theodore talking in hushed voices.
"hey boys, what are we talking about?" Bailey asks.
Mattheos POV:
"so did you tell Bailey you like her yet?" Theo questions.
"no, i think she knows. i might wait a while before i ask her out, dont wanna freak her out ya know?" Mattheo replies.
as if she heard us talking about her, she comes down from her dorm.
"well if you like-" Theo begins but i kick him from under the table and he sees where im looking and stops talking.
Bailey asks what were talking about, her voice heavy with sleep.
"oh you know, quidditch tryouts." Mattheo says. 'shit her morning voice is so cute.' Mattheo thinks.
"yeah, im trying out for keeper." Theodore adds.
"fun, i wanna try out for seeker. im sick of being beater." Bailey admits, looking shy.
"id say you'd be good at seeker." Mattheo compliments.
"thanks rattymatty." she smiles. 'god shes so cute' Mattheo thinks.
"rattymatty?" Theodore questions.
"yeah, Bailey just started calling me rattymatty and im just going along with it." Mattheo laughs and Bailey giggles along.
"yeah im gonna go get some breakfast. Matt, think about what i told you." Theo says, getting up and leaving the dormitory.
Bailey slides into the seat Theodore was just sitting.
"sooo what do you need to think about." Bailey asks.
"oh nothing." Mattheo brushes off.
"ah come on please tell me." Bailey begs
"fine. he wanted me to tell you that i- that i like you." Mattheo admits, scratching the back of his neck. he does that a lot when hes nervous.
"you like me?" Bailey says. to Mattheos surprise, she doesnt sound shocked. she sounds like she... expected it. i mean, he did flirt with her a lot, but was it really that much? he didnt think it was.
"uhh yeah, i do." Mattheo replies.
"im confused about how i feel about you, could you give me some time to think it over?" Bailey asks.
"yeah, yeah, of course, take your time." Mattheo replies, relieved it wasnt a no. he has a chance with her. Mattheo tries to hide his happiness.
"do you wanna go down and get breakfast?" she asked.
"yeah, we can go now if your ready." Mattheo agrees.
"ill just go get into actual clothes, ill be down ina second." Bailey says.
"ok, ill wait here for you." Mattheo promises as she goes upstairs to get changed.
