Chapter 1~Hogwarts Express

Baileys POV:
"are you sure you have everything?" he asked.

"Sirius, im sure, if you want, you can check again but i have everything" she says, nonchalantly. Sirius is the only father figure shes known in her life.  he has always been amazing to Bailey and she will forever be grateful to him.

"if i do forget anything its fine, its not like i wont be able to get it in hogsmead." Bailey says.

"thats true." Sirius says.  Bailey rolls her eyes, jokingly at her dads stupid question.

Bailey is in her 5th year in Slytherin in Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardary, the same year as her 'cousin' Harry Potter. Bailey was adopted by Sirius Black, Harry Potter godfather when she was only little. he found her on the side of the road in a muggle part of england. he took her in, fed her, clothed her and loved her. Sirius is all Bailey could ask for in a dad.

living in the shadow of 'the chosen one' was always hard on Bailey. everyone wanted to get to know her, simply to get to know Harry. all because he defeated one of the most powerful wizards when he was only a baby. the wizard, known as Lord Voldemort, killed both of Harrys parents, which resulted in Harry growing up around muggles (non magic people) up until he was 11.

Sirius takes Bailey to Kingscross train station so she can get the Hogwarts Express on Platform 9 and 3 quarters. to get to Platform 9 and 3 quarters, you have to run through a pillar in between the signs for Platform 9 and 10. they have to do it subtly though, as not to confuse the muggles. the pair, Sirius and Bailey do just this.

they arrive on the Platform and immediately spot Harry, Hermione, Ron and the twins.

"hey Bailey." says Hemione, giving her a hug.

"hey Mione, how was your summer?" Bailey asks, hugging her back.

"it was so good, my mum and dad brought me to Ireland, its so cool there." Hermione replies, excitedly.

while the girls are catching up, Harry and Sirius are talking. when the girls finish talking they go over to the boys.

"sup Bail." says one of the twins

"heya Georgie." Bailey greets smiling.

"woah you actually got it right, sometimes even mum mixes us up." George says, surprised.

"not hard to tell you apart." Bailey states, laughing.

out of the corner of Baileys eye she sees him. Mattheo Riddle- the person in Hogwarts Bailey hates most of all. he constantly flirts with her, for no apparent reason. and this really pisses Bailey off. he sees her looking at him, making eye contact, smiling sarcastically. he holds her eye contact until she looks away at the mention of her name.

"hows my little cousin anyway?" Harry says, teasingly.

"dude im literally 4 months younger than you." Bailey responds, mock-angrily. Harry always calls her little cousin for two reasons; one: hes a lot taller than her and two: because shes younger than him.

"keyword: younger." Harry mocks. Bailey rolls her eyes at him, then goes in to give him a hug. despite the fact he can be annoying, hes the closest thing she has to a brother.

"hello Bailey dear, how are you love?" says mrs Weasley.

"im good, im tired though but ill be ok, how are you mrs Weasley?" Bailey replies, politely.

"ah Bailey, how many times have i told you to call me Molly?"  mrs Weasley complains.

"sorry Molly" she smiles.

the Hogwarts Express' horn goes off, as a way of telling the students that its their last chance to get on the train.  the group say goodbye to their familes.

"ill see you at christmas bail. i love you." Sirius says.

"i love you too dad, ill write i promise." Bailey replies, wrapping her arms around Sirius and hugging him tight. he hugs her back and places a kiss on her forehead. 

Bailey gathers up her suitcases and her brown Great Horned Owl named Sakura and heads onto the train along side Hermione and Ginny who had just joined them. once on the Hogwarts Express, Bailey says her goodbyes to the group of friends and goes to find her Slytherin friends, Draco Malfoy and Pansy Parkinson. while looking for her friends, she stumbles into Mattheo.

"sorry- oh its you." Bailey says, coldly.

"nice to see you too, pretty." Mattheo replies, flirtatiously.

"ew as if. and my names Bailey. not pretty." she responds. 'ugh hes so annoying.  like yeah hes cute and all but like ew.' she thinks.

"yeah i know your name, how could i forget it?" Mattheo smirks.

"youre gross." says Bailey walking off. she finds the compartment with Draco and Pansy. Bailey brings her bags and Sakura into the compartment.

"hey Lee, who were you talking to out there?" asked Pansy.

"Mattheo fucking Riddle" Bailey replies, rolling her eyes.

"oh your boyfriend?" Draco teases.

"shut the fuck up. hes not my boyfriend, i have higher standards than him." she says angrily.

"oh yeah, like who?" Pansy asks.

Bailey pauses. she cant think of any names of anyone in her year she'd date.  shit this is gonna look bad.

"anyone BUT him." Bailey comes up with.

"you like him dont you Bail?" says Pansy.

"as if." Bailey says. the compartment door opens.

"anything from the trollies deer?" the trolly lady asks.

"can i get a Bertie Botts Every Flavoured Beans and Chocolate Frog please." Bailey asks, handing her some money.

"there ya go dear, anything else?" the lady requests.

Draco and Pansy both say no. they look at each other then look at her.

"... what?" she asks, eating her Chocolate Frog.

"you like him, just stop denying it Bailey." Pansy says.

"i literally dont." Bailey insists.

"fine then, if you dont like him, go out with him for 6 months and if you still dont like him, we'll both give you 20 galleons but if you do like him, you have to give us 20 galleons." Draco says.

"ok, deal." Bailey says. "dont get all butthurt when i win though." she adds smirking.

"fine" Pansy agrees. they shake on it.

Bailey falls asleep soon after.

"Lee, wake up, we're here." someone says. Bailey wakes up to Pansy shaking her. Shes holding Sakura and hands her to Bailey.  Bailey stands up and gets off the train with Pansy.
