Police Interviews

~THIRD PERSON P.O.V

Three hours after dawn...

Chris rubbed the back of his neck as he sat in the police station. "The old man... I, er... I don't know how to describe him, I mean..." he trailed off.

"You said you thought he was stalking you all at first. Did anyone else in the group think that?" the female police interviewer asked. 

Chris nodded slightly. "Well, yeah... Kinda..." he trailed off, breathing out a chuckle.

"Is it possible they could've killed him?" the female police interviewer questioned. 

Chris looked at her in shock, like she had two heads. "What?" Chris questioned, shaking his head. "No, no, you don't understand. Don't you understa-" 

"If he attacked you," the female police interviewer cut him off. 

Chris scoffed, setting his folded arms on the table in front of him.

"He took care of Violet for a whole year, he helped get Matt, Joey, and Jessica out of the mines, and he saved mine and Seán's life... And the two of us watched him die. Just ask him,"

Seán rubbed his face. "That whole place was fuckin' insane... I don't know how almost all of us made off the mountain alive... Except for Josh," Seán explained to the female police investigator.

"Josh? Josh Washington? What happened to him?" she asked. 

Seán sighed, crossing his arms. "I don't think I'm the right person to be asked about that," 

The female police investigator nodded. "Right... So about the old man," she started saying. 

Seán looked at her confused. "What about him?" he asked.

"Did one of your friends kill him by any chance?" she asked.

Seán looked at her in shock. "Wha... No, no.  No one hurt him. He saved our lives, why would he have any reason to harm us?" 

"Um, Violet Blight? She was missing for a whole year and she magically popped up. Are you sure he wasn't... Doing something to her?" she questioned.

Seán scoffed, shaking his head. "No, he took care of her and trained her. She had a reason why she couldn't return to the lodge that night. I'm not the person you should be asking that question to, and besides, that man saved our lives! If it wasn't for his knowledge, we'd be dead. And he saved both mine and Chris' life! And the two of us watched him get fuckin' decapitated,"

Ashley looked the investigator in the eye. "Charlie and I heard Mike and Violet... I don't know about Charlie's opinion on this, but I don't know how or why they were down there because they were heading to the Sanatorium, but I know... I heard them..."

Charlie hadn't spoken a word yet. The male police investigator sighed, annoyed. "Look, if you're not gonna talk, that's fine. But we really need some information about the situation," 

Charlie looked up, glaring at him. "Really? I mean, I do understand that you need information about... This... But, some of us almost died on that mountain. Hell, Jessica was almost killed. According to Mike and Riley, she was pulled out a window, dragged through the snow, and fell down an elevator shaft. She needs medical help, not to be questioned!"
