both irang and sunghoon sat by his bed, eyes focused on the tv across them playing the series business proposal. they were sitting, half-laying, with their backs stuck on to the headboard.
with irang's hand in sunghoon's, he played with it, poking and soothing on the soft skin and sometimes even hitting it ever so lightly.
ㅤ
"grandpa is really out there being all stingy about hari and taemoo's relationship when he was the one commenting that not all chaebols are like that." irang commented before rolling her eyes, but sunghoon only answered with a yawn.
"sleepy already? it's just half past ten, hoon." irang queried, though soon followed with the yawn. her eyes were slightly heavy, but she has been subconsciously ignoring it since they first decided to binge watch 'business proposal' on netflix.
ㅤ
"i was excused at school earlier afternoon, turns out my manager signed me for a contract with abib." sunghoon told as irang turned to looked at him with wide eyes.
her eyebrows furrowed slightly, "he didn't tell you that he's signing you in?"
sunghoon shook his head no. "he did, but i didn't see it because i haven't really been checking my phone. it's not a big deal." he shrugged before shaking his body to move down and get more comfortable.
ㅤ
irang nodded and also got comfortable on the bed. by this time, irang's hand was still being played by sunghoon.
her hand was flapping around as sunghoon shaked it randomly, but irang didn't really mind.
ㅤ
...
ㅤ
they were fifteen at that time, when sunghoon always take irang's hand as they walk towards and from school. he pretended to be her boyfriend for approximately 2 months to shove all her admirers from their school away.
ㅤ
sunghoon was always infuriated by those boys who gift irang her favorite things and try to play video games with her. even girls try to ask irang out. everyone is his competition for irang's attention, and sunghoon doesn't like losing.
sunghoon never liked video games as he claimed that it was hectic, time-wasting and just stressful. but ever since irang started getting interested in it, he, too, has grown to like them.
ㅤ
"your hands are so rough because of volleyball, you should use this." he commented before taking a tube of hand cream from his pocket and put it right on irang's hand, knowing very well that the girl wouldn't take it otherwise.
"it's expensive so you better use it all." sunghoon then narrowed his eyes. "don't think i'll ever forget the lip balm i gave you that i found in the trash."
"it was expired." irang deadpanned.
ㅤ
sunghoon's eyes widened, offended at the fact that irang had to bring the fact that he handed her an expired lip balm.
it was one of the most embarrassing moments of his life.
"well- i just bought this hand cream so it's not expired. a beautiful lady shouldn't have rough hands, it's not pretty of them."
"and who says that? you? mr.mysoginistic asshat?"
however, sunghoon ignored her remark and instead squeezed her hand tightly. "i'm checking your hand everyday to see if you're using it."
