sunghoon wanted to call irang. he so badly wanted to cry about how his manager had to resign because of personal reasons, how his contract with various companies were in shambles and he does not have any clue how to settle it.
he was at his home, locked in the bathroom with tear-stained cheeks, swollen eyes, and runny nose as he looked at his phone with furrowed eyebrows. his phone was open, displaying irang's phone number.

he can't depend on anyone but irang when it comes to his fragility. only irang can see through it, only irang knows what to do when he doesn't. not even his parents know about most of his struggles.

but why irang? why does he have the urge to call irang when he already has byunseo to look after him and listen to his worries? he exited the contacts and proceeded to go to his gallery, where albums after albums of pictures were all about irang and him.

these albums, they all had good memories in them. irang named all of them, and sunghoon never changed it the way they were. it is an underestimation to say that sunghoon only liked the pictures, he loved it.

just like the pictures he stole from irang whenever she's fast asleep; where they mess around with each other, cake icing all over their faces.
and just like that one photo with their face side to side, cheeks drawn with a heart, supposedly their wallpaper for until their next favorite photo.

sunghoon can still remember all of the moments behind every picture taken. he was longing for irang's hugs, he was missing irang's tickles, he wished he could play tekken with her again, to tease and annoy her all day and all night.

sunghoon wished that things would just go back to the way they were... but even he can't seem to make the effort of doing so.
they rarely see each other. just nods here and there whenever they passed by each other. yet other than that, they no longer interact. it was heartbreaking, really; to witness how they both slowly part ways. how they slowly slip away from each other's fingers.

it was painful, really; to know that their friendship of 14 years is falling apart just like this.
