both irang and heeseung idled around the mall, shopping for random stuff that piqued their interest. irang was sad for a reason heeseung does not know. the girl wouldn't talk so instead, he just invited her to the mall.
they are now in the toy section of a store, and irang saw a certain toy that took her attention.

i should buy this one for hoon. she subconsciously smiled before taking a penguin doll. irang could only imagine the look of disbelief in sunghoon's face once she teases him with the penguin doll.

"irang, look! a bunny stuffed toy." heeseung giggled as he showed his girlfriend the toy, before putting it side by side of her face. this altered irang's attention.
"it looks so much like you." heeseung smiled in awe as he adored irang. his eyes sparkled, so deeply in love. he's never been so happy in his life.

"well, i didn't know you are famous enough to be made as a keychain!!" irang teased as she showed heeseung a deer keychain in her hand.
heeseung only laughed at his girl's humor, before ruffling her hair, something that he grew to like doing. the cute glare he always receive whenever he ruins irang's hair is so adorable.
and in his way, he would have an excuse to fix her hair and gawk at her beauty longer.

"come on, let's pay for these." heeseung says, and with that, they walked to the counter. the both of them went to the cashier and put the toys down for the cashier to pick up.
"oh, you want a penguin doll?" heeseung raised his eyebrows, intrigued. they've been dating for months now, but he never knew irang would be one to display figurines and dolls, her room is not decorated with it after all.

"oh, it's not for me. i just wanted to buy it so i could tease hoon later." irang mindlessly chuckled as words came out before she even thought of what it could mean.

heeseung grew silent, and only then did irang realize what she just said.
"are you being serious right now?" heeseung scoffs before turning to the cashier, who's done checking the items out.
"miss, can you take the deer keychain off the receipt?" heeseung asks while the cashier hesitantly nodded.
irang, startled by how quick things were unfolding, could onky react so much. "wha—"
"thank you." heeseung says after paying, before quickly marching out of the store.

is he really doing this? irang quickly bowed to the cashier and took the paper bag of the stuff she bought before running to catch up to heeseung, who was already heading out of the mall.
"heeseung." she called, but the boy only proceeded to go forward at the parking lot where his car idled by.
"lee heeseung!" irang shouts at him, but he only unlocked his car and opened the door to the passenger seat.
"let's go." he says with a cold voice, while irang huffs. she went inside, and heeseung closed the door with a thud. he then proceeded to go inside the driver's seat, immediately starting the car.

"why are you being like this hee? you're ticking me off!" irang says, irritated by the sudden change of mood. she didn't say anything that was too bad.
"you're asking me that irang?— and really? " heeseung says, now on the verge of tears. he doesn't like shouting, and definitely not at irang.
ㅤ
but the overflowing frustration of being unable to express himself to his own girlfriend out if the oure fear of driving her away— it was becoming too much to handle.
ㅤ
heeseung scoffs as he looked away. "i'm the one ticking you off?" out of anger, he hit the steering wheel and but his lips.
"well i'm sorry that whenever i'm around, you still talk about your freaking boy bestfriend!"
ㅤ
"i'm sorry that i get jealous at sunghoon for always being in your mind! you might as well just date sunghoon because it seems like he's the only one you always think of."
heeseung now looked at irang, eyes glowing in tears as his eyebrows furrowed in deep sadness and hopelessness. "...tell me irang, do you have feelings for your bestfriend?"

heeseung asked, and irang did question herself... she is now doubting, and maybe heeseung was right—

maybe she did have feelings for sunghoon.
