Always wished that when Defne went to reveal the secret at the wedding that Omer told her that he already knew. This isn't that exact scenario, but it's along those lines.

I'm tired, so I've not proofread, apologies for any mistakes. Point them out and I'll go back and fix when I get time.

Oh, also - before I forget. I discovered a special scene that was for the internet only and didn't air. It's between Koray and Defne when they are trying to lengthen her hair, available on Youtube if anyone is interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlsyZlUywIE

Omer could hear the chatter of his friends and family in the kitchen as he lay on Koray's couch, trying to capture just five more minutes of sleep before he had to get up for the biggest day of his life. His head was pounding, the alcohol from last night's bachelor party not giving him any respite.

Sinan and Koray were going to pay for this. He couldn't afford to be hungover today, of all days. Keeping his eyes closed, he listened to their conversation.

"It's like he disappeared into thin air." Omer could hear the stress in Sinan's voice.

"It's not like it's the first time a groom has run away from a wedding." There was a pause in Yasemin's speech. "But, that's not important, let's not have negative thoughts right now."

"Think it, girl, think it! He ran away!" Koray seemed ready to believe that Omer would abandon Defne.

Omer heard his uncle come to his defence and smiled slightly to himself. "No, Omer wouldn't do that. He wouldn't leave Defne,"

"Never say never." Omer rolled his eyes beneath their lids, Koray again. "Have you seen how many times they broke up, took off their rings, burned their bridges. As if you didn't know."

Sinan's voice filtered through to the sofa. "Koray, I swear you are the height of anxiety. Please shut up."

"Ay, the story keeps jumping back and forth. I was expecting this from Omush. He hinted to me..."

Sinan seemed shocked. "What? What are you talking about?"

Omer pushed himself to a sitting position, ready to call them out on the ridiculous idea that Omer would leave Defne, on their wedding day, at that! He'd never stand her up. He pushed to his feet and started to head towards the kitchen, where the voices were drifting through from.

"My life, he ran away. Whichever way you look at it, he's oppressed by responsibility. The wedding has overwhelmed him. He only has one life. What can you do? He's decided to think about himself... maybe he found out about Defne's lie."

Yasemin sounded astonished. "What lie?"

There was a beat of silence before Koray pressed on. "Ah, you don't know do you? Defne's been lying to Omer the whole time."

"Koray!" Necmi tried to stop him with a stern voice.

"Ay, Mr Necmosh, everyone else knows it, what would it hurt to tell Yasemin, she's one of us now after all... Defne was hired to make Omush fall in love with her."

"What!? Sinan. You knew about this?!"

Sinan heaved out a sigh. "It sounds worse than it is... she fell in love with him, he fell in love with her... the rest of it, it doesn't matter... You don't think he found out do you?"

Necmi sighed. "I don't know... I don't know. It would explain why he's disappeared, why no one can get a hold of him, if he knew..."

"Someone needs to explain this to me, in detail... from the beginning... hired? By who? Why?"
