Changsheng Third Year, Fourth month Tenth day.

A Joyous celebration happened in the palace.

It was announced that the Empress have given birth to fraternal boy and girl twins and the Kingdom was surprised and at the same time glad.

Giving birth to boy and girl twins is considered especially lucky as it is known as a Dragon-Phoenix birth, with the boy symbolizing the Dragon and the girl, the Phoenix.

When the court officials heard about the news they are pleased and can't help but praise the Emperor and the Empress. Their prejudice towards the Empress have greatly lessened and was even more glad when they heard that both children looks more like His Majesty and didn't inherit the eyes of the Empress.

The first born son Prince was named Yan Yingpei and was titled as the Crown Prince while the other child was named Yan Xiulan and titled as the Eldest Princess.

Exquisite and expensive gifts are being sent to the palace together with their words of blessings.

After the celebration, Yan Xianchu went back to the Hongwei Palace, the palace where the Empress is staying.

He then tell the maids and servant to stay 300 steps away from the bedchamber. When he entered he saw a harmonious scene. His Empress is taking care of the three children especially holding the second child.

Yan Xianchu named the child Yijun but the child's surname won't be Yan.

He noticed that the child was actually wrapped in a pink silk which means one thing. He didn't pry anymore and helplessly smile.

"Yijun would grow as beautiful as you" He gently said making Adina smile lovingly and she looked up to see him.

Yan Xianchu sit beside her as he looked at the other two infant sleeping peacefully.

His face then suddenly became serious as he sighed.

"Adina, tonight Li Zhong will come and take Yijun away from the palace" He calmly stated making the smile on Adina's face disappear.

Li Zhong is one of his trusted men that his late Emperor father raised and cultivated and grow up with. He is his secret guard and he usually assign to him secret investigations in conspiracies happening in the palace when he was still the crown prince.

But now that he have ascended to the throne and the kingdom is currently at peace and have solidified his position he have been thinking to give him his freedom and to give him one last task, that is to take care of his child Yijun.

He have already explained and tell the condition of Yijun to Li Zhong beforehand and the latter have readily and devotedly agreed pledging to take care and protect Yijun with all his life.

Adina looked up, the rim of her eyes reddened and her tears rolled down in her fair, delicate cheeks.

Yan Xianchu quickly held her cheeks wiping the tears away as he gently coax: "Adina we would still see Yijun, They will still stay in the Capital City and I could just send someone to his state to ask him to visit us and bring Yijun with him so don't be so sad anymore"
