Li Yijun went silent after hearing that but eventually stand up.

She can feel that Jiang Yanyue have already considered letting Xiulan stay and the child so as not to provoke her she agreed and led her to where Xiulan is sleeping.

Li Yijun was so nervous when she opened the bedchamber's door and saw that Xiulan have woken up and was sitting on the bed while holding Yan Mei.

Xiulan eventually saw them and carefully put  down the infant.

She have never seen Jiang Yanyue but with one glance she knew that she's the Zhenxi Princess just looking at the ornaments and clothes she's wearing... Xiulan was once a Princess after all.

When Jiang Yanyue was in front of her she eventually kneeled down with her robes spread as she greeted "This lowly one greets Your Highness the Zhenxi Princess..."

Jiang Yanyue showed a smile filled with contempt.. so she does know who I am!

Li Yijun looked away and her hands clench inside her sleeves seeing this. Xiulan was also  part of an Imperial family but that right was taken away because of Jiang Renshu.

Li Yijun can still take it if she is the one kneeling down in front of Jiang Renshu and his children but to see her sister kneeling down and down grading herself, she cannot bear to see it...

Jiang Yanyue looked at her coldly and asked her to rise. Xiulan immediately complied and stand up but still looking down.

"What's your name?" Jiang Yanyue asked 

"Answering Your Highness, this lowly one's name is Yan Xiulan"

This time Jiang Yanyue have finally got a clear look at her.

No wonder.... No wonder why Yijun was so willing to protect this woman..

Even if she were a "commoner" there's still a trace of elegance when she moved, her face is fair and beautiful and the contours of her face are soft but proportionate.

If a man were to stare on her eyes they would eventually be bewitched and those reddish lips were a little plump seemingly tempting a man to taste it...

Even her voice carries a unique softness blended with a sense of seduction...

No wonder Yijun was tempted...

Jealousy instantly filled Jiang Yanyue's heart... This is someone that she considers as rival how could she not feel threatened seeing her husband keeping someone this beautiful.

This time she's already having hesitation if  she would let this woman stay... or just let her Emperor Father deal with her.

She cannot let Yijun be more besotted to her!

If she were to let this woman disappear, would Li Yijun resent me?

But I'm clearly the one who was supposed to be mad right? Why am I still considering his feelings?!
