"YOUR HIGHNESS, I'M SORRY"

Chapter 29

"Brother, This is my son Li Qiang" Li Bocheng introduced his 3 year old son to Yijun.

After finishing his works Li Bocheng eventually went to visit Li Yijun on her estate bringing along his son to finally introduced him to Li Yijun but found out that she went to Wensha Palace to visit the Lihua princess, Yanmei.

"Hell-o uncle" the little boy greeted with his small voice slightly bowing down just like what Li Bocheng told him to do beforehand.

Yijun looked at the little boy that is slightly smaller than Yanmei. His face have a little resemblance with Li Bocheng but the little boy mostly looked like his mother Jiang Liwei.

Li Qiang raised his head and the little boy's big watery eyes stare at Li Yijun with curiosity and amazement noticing those blue eyes that were the same as Yanmei.

"Uncle's eyes is also blue just like Yanmei's. It's really unique and beautiful" he suddenly said making Li Yijun smile. Children are innocent beings so the words that comes out from their mouth would eventually felt sincere with no sense of flattery.

"Hmm. Yanmei have also inherited it. So you have met Yanmei before?"

Li Qiang nod "I always play with her and we sometimes study together.. I would always ask mother to bring me here"

"I'm glad.. I thought Yanmei play alone with herself. Then would you accompany her for a while, while me and your father talk? She's in the courtyard, I have given her a gift to play with. You might also want to try it.."

Li Qiang's curiosity was picked "What is the gift uncle?"

Li Yijun just smile "Go and have a look"

"Alright.." Li Qiang said excitedly. Li Yijun then looked at Wuyi who have been on the side waiting for orders.

"Wuyi, go and accompany Li Qiang. Look out for him and Yanmei don't let them get hurt and guide them" she instructed.

Li Yijun have actually given Yanmei a small bow and arrows suitable for kids she have bought. Yanmei was so enthusiastic to play with it so she went to ask her personal servants to change her clothes. Li Yijun also went to ask the other servants to prepare target boards but before she could teach Yanmei how to properly use it Li Bocheng came.

Wuyi bow "Understood" she then looked at Li Qiang "Young Master, if you allow" Wuyi then carry the little boy and Li Qiang didn't object.

After they left, Li Bocheng and Li Yijun went to the parlour as the maids serve them tea and pastries.

"Has Brother Yijun been well?"

Li Yijun smiled "Luckily I escaped death once again.."

Li Bocheng laughed "You're really being protected by the heavens"

"Also... Miss Xiulan have found out about what happened to you. She was also greatly worried that she fall sick."

Li Yijun went silent for a while. "How is she now?"

"She have recovered when she heard that you finally woke up and was summoned back to the Capital"

Li Yijun sigh in relief.  When she reached the Capital she wanted to visit her sister Xiulan but Jiang Yanyue would definitely be furious if she were to find out. As she have only come back her current relationship with Jiang Yanyue is still in the process of rebuilding so she cannot do things to provoke Jiang Yanyue. So she can only hold back for now.
