"You betrayed me and killed my family!" Jiang Yanyue shout while looking at Li Yijun with so much indignation as she pointed a dagger towards her neck.

They're inside the Main Palace and Li Yijun saw Jiang Renshu, Jiang Feng and Jiang Liwei's body lying around with no life remaining...

She have achieved revenge but Jiang Yanyue is still alive standing in front of her.

Li Bocheng was beside her staring emotionless at Jiang Liwei's body. Yan Xiulan was also on her side carrying her daughter trying to pacify her continuous crying..

How did everything end up like this...?

"And now you wanted to let me live to suffer?! That would never happen!"

"I wish I have never loved you! In the next life I wish I would not ever meet  you again!" Jiang Yanyue said before slicing her neck with the dagger...

Li Yijun was full of sweat when she woke up as her hands were abruptly raised seemingly reaching for something.

In her dream she was about to stop Jiang Yanyue but it was too late as the blood splattered on her face...

Li Yijun sit up and crudely wipe her face and was relieved seeing sweat instead of blood

That dream felt so real that her heart was beating frantically...

It actually scared her...

She inhale deeply as she close her eyes trying to calm herself. When she opened her eyes she saw her packed things that she would bring tomorrow to travel back to the Northern border.

Tomorrow is the declared day that she would leave and tomorrow was also Jiang Yanyue's 17th birthday.  Jiang Renshu obviously put it on the same date...

Li Yijun saw the Jade pendant that Jiang Yanyue have given her laying beside her. She gripped on it tightly as she got up from the bed and went to take a bath...

"Where's Young Master going to?" The person guarding her bedchamber asked...

This person is one of the Secret shadows that Li Zhong got from the Southern Yong.

Li Yijun named her Wuyi...

As Li Zhong was worried that Jiang Renshu still have some plans to harm Li Yijun he decided to let Wuyi stay by Yijun's side and guard her.

Li Yijun doesn't really like the idea of letting another woman beside her because of the matter with Yan Xiulan being "his concubine" and she's cautious that Jiang Yanyue and Jiang Renshu would not see this positively.

Besides she can protect herself even if she's asleep..

But Li Zhong still insisted and also told Li Yijun that Wuyi could be her personal doctor as Wuyi is more on medical practice and she wouldn't need to worry about her secret being exposed especially now that Jiang Renshu have let her lead in the front lines..

As this secret shadows were said to be fiercely loyal and was cultivated to devote their lives to their master. They would eventually not exposed any words and secret that they would hear from the person they're serving even in the exchange of their lives.
