Yan Xiulan was already wearing her clothes as she looked at her sister. "It just happened" she said making Li Yijun confused but she stayed silent waiting for her next words. The both of them were sitting facing each other.

"I don't really like how cold and indifferent she was but I realized that she's actually the only one who truly cares for me among the servants in this big and lonely estate. When my daughter was taken away from me and you left I undergone many changes that I myself cannot even understand what I'm feeling I really felt lonely and depressed.."

A soft smile suddenly appear on Xiulan's face.. "...She tried to understand me, secretly do and give things that will make me happy even though I didn't tell her. She even brought me out to stroll around just like how other people would do even if it's just for a while, leaving this state that seems like a prison. With her help I started to cope up with everything."

Xiulan then held her hand.. "Sister.. it just happened. For the past years that Yunru have been on my side, I started to become more fond of her, the feelings I have for her slowly blooms without me knowing and I've only realized it last New Year. I found out that in two years that she have been on my side, her feelings for me have deepened and she have kept it to herself all along...

"... That night was extremely cold and I held her hand wanting to feel her warmth, that's when she finally confessed and she cannot keep it any longer. When I heard her sincere words I don't have any feeling of repulsion, instead my heart was strummed, I felt happy. My heart didn't want to reject her and instead accepted her that's when I understand that the both of us feels the same way. I gave her a chance and for the few months that we've been together I felt extremely happy..."

Li Yijun fell silent after hearing Yan Xiulan's explanation. "... But naturally it was her job to protect and take care of you!"

"I know.. at first it was the case but as the days passed I can feel her sincerity. For the past years, the way she took care of me I can feel that everything she have done is not out of obligation but because of her sincere feelings!"

"... Older sister what we have is real.. My love for her is real! The feelings I have for her is as deep as what I felt for my deceased husband. Since my husband was gone and my daughter was taken away from me I thought my life would be forever miserable. But she happened, Yunru is one of the important person in my life! She makes me happy so please.. please don't take her away"

This time Xiulan finally cried as she gripped on Li Yijun's hand tightly.

Li Yijun looked at her sister and felt immense guilt. It wasn't that she cannot accept Yunru for her sister, it's just that she left Yunru on Xiulan's side to protect her but when she returned, Yunru suddenly become her sister's lover?! She didn't expect something like this and the shock is really too much to take.

Li Yijun deeply sigh.. She herself have fallen in love to her daughter's enemy, that thing is more unbearable to accept yet here she's willing to protect and help Jiang Yanyue.

Li Yijun hugged her sister and patted her back consoling her "I was just surprised.. I would never take her away from you.."

After a while Xiulan finally calmed down as Yijun helped wipe her tears.

"Hckk.. I'm sorry, your clothes were all wrinkled because of me" Xiulan hiccupped.

Li Yijun just smiled not minding it "If that person makes you happy then I wouldn't intervene"
