"YOUR HIGHNESS, I'M SORRY"

Chapter 27

**** 4 YEARS LATER ****

Inside the farthest chamber located in the Southwest of the Wensha Palace, sit a little girl.  With her little hands she was holding an ink brush writing on a paper.

She was seriously doing a homework given by the Imperial teacher where she would transcribe a long poem for her calligraphy to improve. As she was just starting, her writing is still somewhat crook. She have been doing this for quite a while that's why there were too many used papers scattered around. All of her earlier works have some serious mistakes or smudges but this time she's finally nearing to finish transcribing.

She carefully dip the ink brush on the ink and about to continue the last sentence left when she heard an announcement outside her chamber. Her movement pause and a black ink drops from the tip of her brush on the almost finished poem making a big , strikingly,round smudge on the center. 

All her hours writing was once again wasted yet she doesn't look irritated at all and was even more excited and happy..

The little girl put down her ink brush and happily jumped down on her seat and the sliding door finally opened..

"Mother!" The little girl called and immediately run towards the woman whom she called mother..

Jiang Yanyue's brows furrowed immediately hearing Li Yanmei's loud call and her unbridled movements...

"Young lady.. where is your proper conduct" Jiang Yanyue strictly said as she stared at those blue eyes.

Li Yanmei's smile disappeared as she let go of her hold on Jiang Yanyue and take few steps back as she bow down and greeted "This daughter respectfully greets Mother.."

Jiang Yanyue only hummed feeling a little bit guilty seeing the pitiful look of the child.

"All of you leave.." Jiang Yanyue solemnly said and the  servants immediately left..

For the past 4 years Li Yanmei "Li Yijun's daughter from his concubine" have grown up under Jiang Yanyue's guidance.

After Li Yanmei turned one Year old, Jiang Yanyue went back to stay in the main chamber of the Wensha Palace. Yet even if Jiang Yanyue was staying on the same Palace with Yanmei, she still rarely visits her.

She actually stayed their for her to reach the Main Palace faster because she would have to attend court meetings.

Her father have made a secret room in the Grand Hall where court meetings where being held and that is where she would secretly stay and participate in court meetings. It was part of her training on becoming the next successor.

Jiang Yanyue then noticed the messy room and she frown  even more "Is this a boudoir of a Young lady?"

Yanmei looked down guiltily "This daughter have been practicing my calligraphy, This daughter didn't know that I already made a mess.."

When she heard this Jiang Yanyue calm down and stare at the almost finished poem in the table but was ruined seeing the strikingly smudge in the center..

Jiang Yanyue looked at Yanmei's writing.. some are crooked but it still looks beautiful..

As expected of Yijun's child.. she's already really good and smart at such young age.

She also noticed that some characters resembled Li Yijun's writing style..

This child is actually imitating her father's writing..
