This is a part of the summer break arc.
<-> : Change of POV
So this is a summer festival, huh?
Vibrant sounds of people chattering and laughing could be heard. It was really bright because of the many lanterns that were placed throughout the entire festival, added by the lights emitted from the stands that sell various kinds of food and items.
Even though the festival was quite crowded, the atmosphere was different than what I saw when I was exploring the streets. Unlike the one I felt back in the city when people seemed busy with whatever they were doing, the atmosphere I got here was that of people that were enjoying their time. People were genuinely having fun.
But what really caught my attention was her.
There, I saw Chiaki wearing a bright-colored yukata with floral patterns. Her hair, which was usually long, was tied down by a ribbon. A flower could be seen decorating the upper-left side of her head.
"Chiaki, did you wait long?" She was standing elegantly.
"No, I just got here."
I could see the pair of radiant blue eyes as I got closer to her. The light, natural makeup that covered her face made her more charming than usual. I could even smell a hint of the scent of lavender off her. More importantly, her nape was exposed due to her hairstyle.
It made my heart skip a beat.

I was standing nervously behind a water fountain. I had come here way too early because of how excited I was.
Then I saw him.
Kiyotaka was wearing a dark-colored yukata, he was walking toward me. His tall and manly figure could easily charm a woman's heart.
"Chiaki, did you wait long?" His voice, even though it seemed apathetic, sounded like a prince's.
"No, I just got here." I was really nervous.
As he got closer to me, I could see his facial features. Smooth skin and wide-set eyes. His collarbone was slightly exposed because of the yukata he was wearing. At this point, I couldn't avert my gaze off his face.
