Ryuuen's POV
Before the trial...
"What do you want?" She said coldly as she approached me.
We were standing in a hallway in the special building, it was deserted since all students were supposed to be studying right now.
"Don't be dumb Kushida, you know what I want" I answered.
"How the hell am I supposed to know? I'm not a goddamn psychic." Anger began building up in her.
"Listen here you dumbass, don't you ever mention anything about me during the trial."
"And what's in it for me?"
"Nothing."
"Nothing?"
I nodded.
"You're fucking with me, right? That means you don't have any plan?"
"Kukuku... You're on point, I'm basically abandoning you, Kushida."
"STOP SCREWING WITH ME!!"
Holy shit, this bitch's screaming almost ruptured my eardrums, just how the fuck did she manage to hold onto her mask for so long?
"If you are really abandoning me, why the hell would I not rat you out as well? I got nothing to lose, anyways."
"Oh, my poor Kushida... you know I'm not that dumb, right?"
"Huh?"
"Your past. I know everything about you, Kushida."
Her expression started to stiffen after hearing what I had just said.
"If you don't do what I do, you know what's going to happen, right?" I said teasingly

Ayanokouji's POV
The trial for today had just finished and I was heading back to my room. Horikita had managed to hold her own during the trial, and both sessions went smoothly. That was no surprise due to the evidence that she had managed to collect with Karuizawa.
Hmm, looks like Horikita was starting to rely on others...
But what had been making me curious was that there wasn't someone mentioning the name of Ryuuen, the mastermind behind all this.
Even Kushida barely talked during the trial, she was already backed to a corner and she didn't even attempt to fight back.
Was it because she didn't want to make it worse? Did she want to gain sympathy from the crowd by playing the victim? Or is this just another part of Ryuuen's schemes?
Whatever the case, I had other matters to attend to for now. Chiaki had asked me to come to her room tonight. I needed to somehow find a way to get there without being caught.
As soon as I arrived in my room, I went straight to bed to get some rest.

"Just let me know if you need help, see you later, Horikita-San!" I waved my hand to her before leaving the room.
