Rochelle had spent the last 30 minutes of class in the bathroom, trying her hardest to fix her hair and outfit in the right way. She wanted to look absolutely perfect, even if it wasn't a date. She wanted to look good enough for you. She wanted to be your type.

She figured she could always ask, but that seemed too easy. It didn't show enough effort, and Rochelle loved putting in effort when it came to love. She always had fallen for people easy, but somehow this felt different. Everything about you was different.

Your hair, your eyes, your clothes, your skin, your smile, everything. And she adored every part of you. She couldn't believe her eyes when you walked into the bathroom directly after the bell.

"Oh!" You jumped in surprise. "I didn't think you'd be in here."

"Yeah." She giggled. She almost felt drunk from your eyes on her. She wanted you to roam them over her body and imagine dirty, terrible things. "Are we going?"

"Sure." You hummed. "Just let me use the bathroom first."

She nodded. "Sure thing!"

She waited patiently for you to finish and wash your hands. Then, she followed you to your class to get your bag, and then her class to grab hers.

She watched as you pulled your hair from your face. You seemed to love the wind on your cheeks.

Rochelle wanted to analyze you. She wanted to figure you out, but she felt like she couldn't! There wasn't a single thing about you that was easy to get to know. Which left her only one option.

"So, do you have a boyfriend?" She asked.

"No." You replied shortly. You didn't want to be rude! You just weren't very good at talking to people! "I-I'm not interested in...guys."

"Oh!" Rochelle blushed. She was one step closer! "Who do you like, then?"

"Girls." You admitted. "I'm a lesbian."

"So...what's your type?"

"I like feminine types. I like having extroverted, feminine girls who love to do makeup or whatever." You looked at the ground.

Rochelle blushed. "Really? I think I'm pretty feminine."

You nodded. "Yeah, you are."

"And I'm extroverted." She added.

You nodded again. "Yep."

"So, am I your type?"

You stopped. Was she flirting?

"You're pretty." You blurted. Why the fuck would you say that?!

Rochelle blushed and looked away. "Thanks...you are too!"

"Thank you."

You didn't say anything else, refusing to allow anymore slip ups. You wanted a friend. You couldn't always go for a relationship!

"I was wondering if you'd like to make this an official date?" Rochelle asked. "If not then that's fine too!"

"Sure." You smiled. "I think you're really cute and sweet."

Rochelle's heart exploded into fireworks. You liked her!!! And only after one day?!

Others would say she was easy. Some would say she wears her heart on her sleeve. But what would it matter? You felt the same way! She was sure she loved you, and perhaps you felt the same? She didn't want to rush things, but she couldn't help it. You were irresistible.

She was infatuated with everything about you. She wanted to know how you did your hair. She wanted to know how you chose your outfits for the day. She wanted to know your morning routine. She wanted to know your nightly routine. She wanted to know your classes. She wanted to know your grades. She wanted to know everything about you, but that meant lots and lots of investigating, or lots and lots of questions.

One of the two.

She could always do the easy route, but she never was one to make things easy.

You felt similar. You were cautious of her. There was no way she could fall for you that quickly, but she had. So what did that mean? Was she easy? Was she faking it? Was she picking on you? Was this all a joke? You sure hoped not. Maybe she was just a fast paced person, that's all.

Yeah, that's all! She just liked doing things quickly. She was just ambitious. That's all.

You figured she was a normal ghoul, or at least somewhat normal. You didn't want a psycho all over you.

But her being fast paced was very out of your comfort zone. You were used to gentle, introverted, slow things. And apparently she wasn't. But you didn't think that was too much of a problem. That saying 'opposites attract' must be true.

"Y'know, there aren't a lot of people involved in the LGBTQ community at Monster High." You hummed.

"I can tell. I'm pansexual."

"Oh really?" You raised your eyebrows in surprise. "Well, that was a great session of show and tell."

She laughed. "Well, there isn't an easy way, or really a different way, to say it."

You nodded. "That's true."

"So are we going to sit in?" Rochelle asked.

Your walk had taken quite a while, and now that you had finally arrived you wanted to rest your legs for a bit.

"Sure."

You went to the counter to order, and after they had made your coffee you turned to a table for two.

Rochelle reclined against the chair before sitting upright. She felt cornered, pressured to say something to get a reaction. She loved your reactions. And your attention. She definitely loved that, too.
