Rochelle watched you walk to school the next day, finding her spot behind you to be very beneficial as it allowed her multiple pictures of you. She grinned at her camera, proud of her photography skills that she gained just for that purpose.

But it wasn't weird. It was the exact opposite to Rochelle. It was a symbol of love, a symbol of effort. And what was love without effort? This way, she could show you her collection when you and her got back on schedule and hopefully impress you. It was something she was proud of, and would happily tell anyone and everyone about.

Rochelle didn't think one thing about it was off. It seemed like a good, reasonable thing to do. She loved you! Didn't lovers normally take pictures of eachother? The idea of you reciprocating those actions made her heart skip a beat. If you loved her then you would, she was sure of it.

The idea of it being weird or creepy or all around wrong was so far from her mind she didn't even want to think of it. The idea never entertained her brain for a second.

But why wouldn't she? You were so pretty! You held a type of maturity that no other woman carried, you carried the maturity of a well established individual. You were strong in your opinions and firm in your beliefs. You were very calm, cool headed. You were just a dream to Rochelle, and she hoped she was a dream to you too.

The only thing that upset her with you is your dependency on Venus. Surely you could make your own decisions.

Rochelle didn't have a firm point, knowing that she didn't hear Venus say anything bad, but it was odd for you to be hanging out with her after just telling Rochelle that you didn't want to hang out anymore.

It was a heavy coincidence, one that Rochelle didn't want to believe but one she couldn't stop thinking of. Maybe Venus was with you? Maybe Venus liked you?

No! That seemed impossible!

But if you liked Rochelle, why would you hang around Venus? Didn't it seem to contradict itself? If you like one person, why would you need another? Rochelle liked you, and she would easily ditch everyone for you. Why wasn't it the same way? Why wasn't it the same thing?

Your dependency on Venus was something Rochelle envied. She wanted to be that close to you. She wanted to get you. She wanted to be the one you took to go look at plants with. Not Venus!

Any way her mind thought of it, it became warped in an envious hue. Her heart didn't seem to pump properly, and her mind failed to shake off the thought. Venus was seen as a threat, and Rochelle didn't want to have her in the way anymore.

But what could she do? She definitely couldn't just go and pull Venus away from you. So what could she do to send Venus away from you?

Rochelle grinned with a thought and, being sure to snap one last picture, ran as soon as the school came into view.

While you rounded a corner to your shared class with Rochelle, Rochelle followed Venus down the hall to the girls bathroom. Rochelle entered after Venus, and once Venus had chosen a stall, Rochelle burst through the door behind her.

Rochelle locked the door and faced Venus, who held a shocked look over her face. Rochelle cornered her in the stall, and Venus backed away into a corner.

"Stay the fuck away from (Y/N)." Rochelle glared. "She's supposed to be with me. You two aren't together, are you?"

Venus glared harder and shoved Rochelle off of her. Rochelle stumbled back and supported herself on the stall walls.

"How about you get the fuck outta my face?" Venus spat, and she jerked Rochelle by the collar of her shirt.

Before any of the girls knew it, they were swinging at eachother and yelling. It was a good fight, with both of them having equal amounts of damage done to them.

You rushed into the nurses office not long after, finding both Rochelle and Venus in opposite seats glaring at eachother. If looks could kill, both of them would have been dead a while ago.

"Oh my God, Venus! Rochelle!" You gasped for air from your jog. "What...What were you two thinking?!"

"(Y/N)!" Rochelle beamed. "I'm so happy you're here! My eye hurts so bad, do you think you could-"

"Shut up!" Venus snapped. She jumped up from her seat and took your arm. "She isn't going anywhere near you, you fucking slut! How about you stop relationship hopping and leave (Y/N) alone!"

"Woah, woah!" You raised your hands. You were astonished at how direct Venus was being.

"Yeah?! Well how about you go find someone of your own to steal! How about you go back to your fucking greenhouse you overgrown weed!"

"'Ey! Rochelle!" You barked. You felt like a parent trying to calm your children down.

"Well how about-"

"VENUS!" you gave her a side glare. "Stop, please."

Rochelle smiled triumphantly.

"And you stop feeding her reactions." You pointed at Rochelle.

"Now, whatever happened happened, but we need to get out of here. The principal is gonna be here any minute. If you aren't here, then you can't get in trouble." You breathed. "Now come on."

"What kind of logic is that?" Venus asked, completely forgetting about the issue at hand.

"My logic, now come on!"

You grabbed both Rochelle and Venus and jerked them out of the room and down the halls.

God, you really did feel like a mother.
