Rochelle opened the bedroom door in a hurry. You opened your eyes abruptly. Squinting through the dark, you tried to make out her rushed figure.

In an instant, the bedroom light flicked on. You grunted and covered your eyes with your arm. Unusual sounds filled your ears, and you looked down to Rochelle, who sat on the floor packing clothes into suitcases.

You watched for a moment, your sleepy mind confused as to what she was intending to do. You didn't dare ask her, though, and instead chose to stay silent and observe.

"Here." She tossed a pair of expensive sweatpants on the bed. "Put these on. And...." She felt around the messy floor before grabbing a loose shirt. "Wear this."

You looked at the clothes she handed you, but you didn't move.

"Well?" She asked. "Aren't you going to get up?"

You sighed quietly and lifted the sheets off of your body. You stepped onto the floor and began changing, not looking in Rochelle's direction as you changed.

Your curiosity became stronger, and you battled the urge to ask her questions. You still hadn't fully woken up from your sleep, and you didn't want to risk accidentally saying the wrong things.

"Are you done?" She asked, and she dropped a pair of slides at your feet. "We need to go soon! The bus will be leaving in an hour or so!"

"Bus?" You asked, and you rubbed your tired eyes.

"Yes, silly! We've got a bus to catch. Which will take us to another bus. Then a train. Then a few more busses! Oh, aren't you excited?!"

Excitement wasn't really what you were feeling. Where did she intend for you to go? And despite you not wanting to, what option did you have? Should you just obey?

Would you die? Would you ever be found?

The gravity of the situation began to set in, causing you a moment of panic. You forced your breathing to slow as the exhaustion left you completely.

You searched your brain for a life-saving answer, for an idea to set you free. Unfortunately, your mind drew blank after blank. You were stuck.

"Here's a mask." She stepped up to you and placed the mask over your face. "And a hat."

After she had adjusted the hat to hide as much of your hair as it could, she handed you a suitcase handle.

"Now come on, let's go before we miss it!"

"I thought you said it'd be here in an hour?" You asked. You needed more time. You needed to think!

"Oh, yes, but I figured we'd stop and get us some snacks for the journey."

"B-But where are we going?" You tried.

"Stop asking questions you don't need the answer to. Ask things like 'what snacks can I get' or 'will the store have a bathroom'."

"What snacks can I get?" You looked in her eyes, searching for any hint as to what was happening.

"Anything you want, my love. Now, let's go!"

She took your hand and led you out of her dorm and through the building. She didn't let go until she had to scan her ID to exit, and once she had the doors open, she took your hand once more.

You stayed silent as you went with the movements. Everything seemed to be happening so fast, and you squeezed your eyes shut to try to focus on your breathing.

Once you opened them again, you took a good look at your surroundings. It was dark out, with the moon up high. There were barely any cars, and the only monsters out were the nocturnal ones. No one paid you any mind, however, making you feel invisible.

Did no one really know what was happening to you?

Did no one understand that you were a victim?

Did no one know this was happening against your will?

Did Rochelle even know it was against your will?

You hadn't voiced it very often. Maybe she thought you were agreeing to her delusions.

"I-I don't want to do this." You whispered. You had to tell her, just in case she didn't know.

"You will when you see where we're going!"

So she did know...?

Now what? Now that she knew it was against your wishes, and she wasn't stopping, what were you to do?

You couldn't do anything!

If you ran, you were positive you'd end up like Venus. If you got someone else's attention, you were positive they'd end up like Venus, too.

She finally slowed her steps when you arrived at a convenience store. She released your hand and instead grabbed your shoulder to lead you into the store.

"Pick out anything you want!" She whispered to you. "But don't make a sound, okay?"

Though her tone was innocent, you knew the intention behind it. You knew what she was capable of. You were certain she'd kill someone again.

You gave her a simple nod and made your way into the store. You walked down every aisle, eyeing every chip and candy bag as you did so.

She didn't give you a limit, did she?

No, you didn't think she did.

You grabbed what you wanted and approached her once more.

She held a smile as she led you to the front. She took the snacks from your hands and placed them on the counter.

The air was stiff. You knew she was waiting for you to say something. She was waiting for you to disobey her.

You didn't.

She grabbed your hand and led you to your suitcases before opening the door for you.

"Good girl!" She cooed as you exited the building. "Now, let's get to the stop as soon as possible! We don't want to miss our ride!"

You still kept your mouth shut. You didn't want to trigger her in any way. Anything you said would most definitely be used against you, and you wanted to keep your punishments at a minimum.

Rochelle kept a strong grip on you as she walked to the bus stop. She didn't want to lose you.

She wouldn't lose you.

And she knew you wouldn't leave.
