Rochelle found herself outside your bedroom window the next day, staring in through the small cracks of your blinds. The excitement that formed in her gut had her hyper and unable to rest. She carefully opened the window and lifted the blinds. She slipped in, trying her hardest not to wake you as she climbed across your mattress which sat directly below the window. She successfully entered your room without waking you, and she did a mental fist bump as she raised her camera.

She snapped a picture or two and looked at them in the small sliver of moonlight that filtered in from her entrance.

Rochelle looked around your room. No matter how many times she entered, it never ceased to amaze her. It was totally and wholly you, something she craved and adored.

You lay motionless, your sleep keeping you from noticing Rochelle. She walked around and touched a picture frame. It was you and another human, who she assumed was an old friend.

Rochelle made her way around your house, being careful not to wake anybody. She didn't want to get caught, not while she just began. She couldn't afford any rookie mistakes. Not when your relationship was on the line.

She found your bathroom where your soaps and perfumes stayed. She opened every bottle to smell it, and eventually she found the one that you used.

It was a light, simple scent. Something she could get high off of and never go to rehab for. You were a drug all on your own. You were her drug.

Rochelle met you in class the following day. She held a light blush after having eye contact with you. She couldn't handle the interaction, especially after the night before. She couldn't believe it! She managed to pull it off!!

You gave her a side look, watching as she stared at you blankly with a grin on her face.

"Can I help you?" You asked.

"Oh! Uh, nope." She shook her head. "You just look really pretty."

You squinted. "Mm, thanks."

You left the conversation at that, not wanting any more interaction than necessary. You had slept with her one time, and then she thinks she can have you? It was a test run, you had convinced yourself of that. It was nothing to be excited about. You were positive that she was reading too much into it.

When her stares didn't stop, you turned to face her. Luckily, you two were the only ones in the class. It helped tremendously. That way, you could reject her gently.

"Look," You began. "I don't think you understand. That was a one night stand, nothing serious. Just some fun."

She blinked, her expression changing immediately to a more vile, hostile one. Almost immediately it disappeared, and she returned to her normal, chirpy attitude.

"That's what you say now." She smirked.

You shook your head. "No, it's the truth."

"Mhm. I'll have you begging for me soon, just you watch!"

"No, that's not how this-"

Venus stepped into the room and cut you off by clearing her throat. You glanced up at her, and she waved you to follow her. You stood.

"I'll be back." You said, and you followed Venus out the classroom and through the hallway.

"Did you sleep with her? Like, actually sleep with her? Or were you just joking?" Venus asked.

"Yeah." You admitted.

"Like no joke?"

"No joke." You replied.

She looked down. "I told you to take it slow."

"And I tried." You hummed. "I just really like her. I can't help it."

"Oh, really? Well, that's okay I guess."

You chuckled. "You guess?"

"Yeah, I guess." She joked. "No whining when she dumps you for the next guy or girl."

"I won't." You swore. "Scouts honor."

You mimicked a scouts hand gesture and laughed. Venus joined in.

"I just want you to be happy. Whether it's with Rochelle, a guy....a friend?" Venus glanced at you. "Y'know, you haven't given enough people a chance."

"If there were people that wanted me, then they'd be here." You chuckled dryly. "Trust me."

"There's more people than you think." She said.

"Yeah, I hope so. I don't want to be alone forever."

"You won't, (Y/N)." She shook her head no. "Don't be so dramatic."

"Sorry, sorry."

"What're your plans?" She asked. "I've got nature club after school."

"I think I'll ask Rochelle out on a date." You replied. "I think it'll be good for us."

Venus nodded.

Finally, you had returned to your class. The giant loop you had walked in n gave just the right amount of time for your talk. She waved goodbye to you and stepped away from the classroom Rochelle sat in. You approached her gently.

"Wanna go on a date?" You asked. "We can after school."

Rochelle's eyes lit up. "Really?"

You nodded. "Yes, really."

"Okay! Ooh, but give me time to change into some decent clothes. I don't want to wear this to our date."

You raised your hands in defense. "Woah, woah, I don't have money for something fancy. There's a diner right down the road."

"Oh!" She grinned even more. "We can share a milkshake! What's it called again?"

"Marge's Diner."

"Yes! We could totally go! I still want to change, though." She pondered over what outfit to wear.

"Maybe something, I don't know, casual?" You asked.

"If you want me to." She smiled. "I'll wear whatever you want me to wear. I'll do whatever you want me to do."

You gave a smile. "That's not healthy."

"Neither are you." She raised a brow. "You smoke to solve any problem you have."

"And?" You chuckled. "Why're you firing shots at me?"

"I'm just playing." She giggled.

You blushed. "Stop flirting."

"No." She winked.

You blushed more. "I'm serious."

"And I am too."

You sat down in your desk and stared at her. Students slowly filed into the classroom, filling it with their chatter and reckless playing. You stayed focused on Rochelle. You actually really liked her!

You hoped she liked you back.
