You woke late that night to the sound of rain against your window. You rolled over, not wanting it to disturb your sleep any more than it already had. You laid still for a few moments before you sat up. You needed something to drink.

You slid out from under the blankets and made your way to the kitchen. You tiptoed carefully, being sure not to wake anyone that was sleeping. The last thing you wanted was to get in trouble for waking the entire house up.

Your fingers found a glass, and you reached over to the sink to fill it up with water.

You chugged the cup and rinsed off the rim. Then, you sat it back where you had gotten it from and tiptoed back to your bedroom.

A the sound of a small item dropping caught your attention, and you turned your head to see what could have made the sound. A silhouette, no taller than you, stood in the doorway. It stared back at you, almost threatening you to say something about it or to it. You didn't.

Instead, you broke eye contact and tiptoed back to your bed where it was safe and warm. You didn't want to have to go back in there and see...whatever it was again.

You flipped the blankets over you and snuggled against your pillow. Your eyes never once left the door you had closed. If it really was a person, you didn't want to be caught off guard when they, or if they, busted in through the door.

Your eyes dropped almost immediately, knocking you out cold. It left you oblivious to the girl that stood over your bed.

Rochelle had been extra careful, and she swore she wouldn't get caught, yet there she was. She had been spotted, and she didn't know how you'd react to it. Either you wouldn't know it was her and everything would be fine, or you did know it was her and everything had the possibility to be ruined.

She assumed, however, that since you were asleep, you hadn't recognized her. But even if you did, it was a 50/50 chance that you didn't mind the constant watching. But that also meant there was a 50/50 chance that you did mind it and wanted her to stop. There was also a very slim chance, in Rochelle's mind, that you would hate her. But that chance was so small it was almost non-existent.

Rochelle sighed. You were fast asleep, so that meant that she could finish her snooping without being bothered. But then again, she longed to feel your touch. She wanted your company more than anything. So, instead of walking around and investigating the house, she sunk to the floor beside your bed and rested her head against the mattress. She couldn't wait until you two shared a home of your own. There would be no need for her to sit in the floor. She could always sit in your lap!

Images of your naked body flashed in her head. God, she was so lucky to have that drug on hand. She couldn't have been any luckier than to put it in your drink, while being unnoticed, then get to sleep with you.

Her eyelids feathered shut, and her arms began tingling as her mind drifted off.

She woke to a crack of thunder. Rochelle looked around your room. It was still dark, meaning she hadn't been asleep for too long. The only difference was that you had turned on your other side.

She slowly stood and made her way out of the house. Then, she flipped on her hood and made a run for it. She didn't want to be caught up in all the bad weather. Well, more than she already was.

Her footsteps faded into the heavy rain, blocking out any sound she could have made while making her escape. Just as her footsteps faded away from the house, so did her silhouette. She ran as fast as she could, dodging cars and any police vehicles roaming around in the early morning hours. She didn't want to be caught, not again. Not any worse than she did the first time.

She made it back to her house safely, and she stripped off her soaked jacket as soon as she got in. Then, she took off her shoes and walked to her bedroom. She stripped completely and changed into some more comfortable clothes before sinking into her bed and falling fast asleep.

Venus stared out her window. She lived down the street from you, not too far from your home. She had seen Rochelle climb from your window and run away, and since she was a witness, she could take it to the police department. However, she didn't have proof. Just her eyesight wasn't enough, and it definitely wouldn't help that she was high while watching everything unfold.

Venus knew you were asleep. You had been inactive online for hours, and you even told her you were going to bed! There was no way that you snuck her in. You never even snuck out!

She lit her blunt with her lighter again and stared. Hopefully, you'd follow and silently reassure Venus that you had let her in. But you didn't. You didn't exit your house at all. No lights were on, nothing moved from the window, nothing was out of place. You were asleep, completely oblivious to what had just happened to you.

Venus nodded. She was right about Rochelle.

She took another hit and held it in for a minute. Then, she put it out and drizzled a little bit of water over the burnt end. She grabbed her phone and pulled up Rochelle's contact.

Venus:
I saw what you did.
You aren't sneaky.
I'm telling (Y/N) tomorrow.

Rochelle's eyes widened at the message she received. She was done for.
