Chapter 2

The following day I left early to avoid people and to go see Agatha. "ah there's our little demigoddess. Are you excited about your new life?" She smiles "I guess? Doubt we'll get to be there for long" I shrug "I'm sure you will as long as you act well, I have a few things from my time before the isle and since I don't have a daughter or granddaughter, I thought I'd give it to you" she smiles "I'll try to send you letters and gifts" I smile unsure if I could and she just shakes her head "my time is nearing Nix just keep these safe and have fun while it lasts and please find yourself a good man or lady" she smiles patting my shoulder "now go, it's better to be early than late" Agatha smiles "thank you for everything, keep an eye on my dad once in a while" I laugh and she nods before shuffling inside. I pick up the bag and walk to the front of the island that faces Auradon, it doesn't take long for the rest of the island to leave their houses and start about their day, I watch as a limo pulls up on the island and 4 others walk over. We put our stuff in the back of the car and get inside it, beginning our drive to the mainland "so uh what's your name" I look at the other blue-haired girl "Nitix but everybody calls me Nix, you are?" I look her up and down. "Evie, daughter of the Evil Queen, this is Mal, Jay and Carlos. " I nod, not caring. "I've noticed you and Mal look," she trails off. "similar? Yeah, I know. " I roll my eyes. "Will you tell me?" I stay silent, looking out the window and ignoring them.

We arrive at the school and get out and get our stuff. "Welcome to Auradon prep. I'm fairy godmother, headmistress." She smiles. "The fairy godmother? As in, ,"Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo"?" Mal asks "Bibbidi-bobbidi. You know it." She laugh "Yeah, I always wondered what it felt like for Cinderella when you just appeared, out of nowhere, with that sparkly wand and warm smile." Mal fake smiles "Oh." "And that sparkling wand." "That was a long time ago. And as I always say, 'don't focus on the past or you'll miss the future.'" She claps her hands together. "It's so good to meet you all, finally. I'm Ben." The young man holds his hand out only for a young woman to grab his arm, hugging him. "Prince Benjamin. Soon to be king." She grins. "You had me at the prince. My mom's a queen, which makes me a princess." Evie sighs. "The evil queen has no royal status here, and neither do you." She snarls "This is Audrey." He sighs "Princess Audrey. His girlfriend. Right, Bennyboo?" I scrunch up my nose. "Ben and Audrey are going to show you all around, and I'll see you tomorrow. The doors of wisdom are never shut. But the library hours are from 8:00 to 11:00. And as you may have heard, I have a little thing about curfews," Fairy Godmother says

We follow Ben around school "It is so, so, so good to finally me... meet you all. This is a momentous occasion, and one that I hope will go down in history... Is that chocolate? Like the day our two peoples began to heal." He claps his hand "Or the day that you showed five people where the bathrooms are." I pipe up "a little too over the top?" I nod "a little over the top" Mal and I then say in sync "well there goes my first impression" he signs and Audrey pops up "Hey! You're Maleficent's daughter, aren't you? Yeah, you know what? I totally do not blame you for your mother trying to kill my parents and stuff. Oh, my mom's Aurora. Sleeping..." she trails off "Beauty! Yeah, I've heard the name. You know, and I totally do not blame your grandparents
for inviting everyone in the whole world but my mother to their stupid christening." Mal continues with her fake smile "water under the bridge?" Audrey asks "totes" she replies and Audrey walks toward Ben staying with us "Okay! So, how about a tour? Yeah? Auradon Prep was built over 300 years ago and converted into a high school by my father when he became king. Carlos, It's okay. My father wanted his statue to morph from beast to man to remind us that anything is possible." Ben smiles as we walk past a changing statue "does he shed much?" I ask "yes, mum won't let him on the couch" he laughs "So you guys have a lot of magic here in Auradon? Like wands and things like that?" Mal shoves me a bit "you okay?" Evie asks catching me and I nod "Yeah, it exists of course, but It's pretty much retired. Most of us here are just ordinary mortals." Ben replies as we continue on our walk "Who happened to be kings and queens." Mal continues "That's true. Our royal blood goes back hundreds of years." Audrey smiles as we walk into the dorms "Doug. Doug, come down. This is Doug. He's going to help you with your class schedules and show you the rest of the dorms. I'll see you later, okay? And If there is anything you need, feel free to..." "Ask Doug" Audrey smiles as they walk out "Hi, guys. I'm Dopey's son. As in Dopey, Doc, Bashful, Happy, Grumpy, Sleepy, and... Heigh-ho." he says "Evie, Evil Queens daughter" She smiles "Okay. So about your classes, I, uh, put in the requirements already... the history of woodsmen and pirates, safety rules for the Internet, and, uh, remedial goodness 101." I groan hearing the news of our classes "Let me guess. New class? Come on, guys, let's go find our dorms." Mal smiles heading upstairs "Oh, uh, yeah, your dorms are that way, guys. Dopey, Doc, Bashful, Happy, Grumpy, Sleepy, and..." Doug says pointing at the doors before counting "Sneezy." I pat his shoulder and walk into the last room next to the girls and start making myself at home. Let's just say, a whole room to myself? Oh boy. I suppose being the child of Hades meant nobody would want to be my roommate which spoke for the fact there was one bed and a lot of space meaning a bit of work to make it like home however since magic was allowed here it was more like a few waves of my hand until it was just right.
