VILE's new headquarters

After a lot of moving around the world trying to steal riches, VILE decided to strike Ontario, Canada. This city may have the key to stopping Carmen Sandiego from spoiling all their plans, as it just so happens an acquaintance of hers live here.

Coach Brunt took a sip of her coffee. "Ow! This is way too hot! What did you do to my coffee, cleaners?!"

The cleaners just stared at her and shrugged and continued mopping the floor. Countess Cleo cleared her throat and Dr. Bellum put her fingers to her head in disapproval.

"Everyone, may I have your attention?" Professional Maelstrom announced to the 3 other VILE members.

"As you may know, we are in Ontario, Canada currently." He adjusted his collar. "Well duh, we know," Coach Brunt grunted.

"We are here because of a suspected acquaintance of Carmen Sandiego who always helps her in her missions and stops our plans. We have tried to locate this specific person, but we can't because they have a strong software that doesn't reveal the applicant's location." Professor Maelstrom continued.

"But recently, we have finally been able to track down 'Carmen's little helper.' With the help of that monkey we ordered months ago, we have finally managed to locate 'him.' Now we can devise a plan to capture this person smoothly."

Coach Brunt asked, "who is this guy helping Carmen Sandiego?"

Professor Maelstrom replied, "His name is Player Bouchard. He is a 14 year old kid with abnormal typing speed and extraordinary hacking skills. Player has infiltrated so much of our software, it is unforgivable! That's why I have come up with a plan to capture him and make him work for us."

Dr. Bellum angrily cleared her throat. "Hey! I helped devise the plan too! Give me some credit!" She slammed her fists on the desk, making the whole table shake.

"Ahem. As I was saying," said Professor Maelstrom as he rolled his eyes. "Me and Dr. Bellum came up with a plan. First, Coach Brunt will break into Player Bouchard's house while his parents are away and kidnap him. Then, she'll bring him into our lair and we'll brainwash him, simple as that."

"Wait a minute," Countess Cleo said. "We're doing CHILD ABDUCTION NOW?! Carmen's helper is just a kid! I know we do lots of bad stuff, but child kidnapping is on a whole 'nother level."

"Oh, for goodness sake, Cleo!" Dr. Bellum exclaimed. "Remember when Shadowsan brought home Blacksheep? That's basically the same thing!"

Countess Cleo snarled. "Blacksheep was alone on the side of the road. She was abandoned there, so it's not child abduction!"

Coach Brunt then smacked her fists on the table. "Stop mentioning Blacksheep and Shadowsan! Leave that all in the past, they bring up bad memories!"

Coach Brunt, Countess Cleo, and Dr. Bellum yelled across the table to each other. Professor Maelstrom rubbed his forehead disappointedly and thinks about how he is the only man among 3 women.

"Everybody, please stop arguing!" Professor Maelstrom snapped. Everyone stopped and looked at him.

"Now, Countess Cleo, I know that what we are doing is child abduction. But Player Bouchard is a skilled acquaintance of Carmen Sandiego, and we must do what must be done."

Countess Cleo crossed her arms. "Hmph. Well how did you find out Carmen's acquaintance's location in the first place, anyway?"

Dr Bellum answers the question for her. "I developed a very intricate and useful machine to hack into the VPN that kid is using! It was very tough, and it took almost forever. But it has been done, and the results were satisfying."

"Yes," Professor Maelstrom said. Then he turned to the whole group. "We will be conducting this mission in exactly one week from now. This is an important caper, so please be on your best behavior and do not get caught."

Author's note: The next few chapters will be... interesting, so stay tuned! Also, Player's age is not confirmed. He is 14 in this fanfic because he looks around that age and a lot of people agree too. Toodles!
