Chapter 13 - Come on Baby America

Y/n's POV

After you wake up and head downstairs, you ask your parents when you guys are leaving for Universal. Your parents say that everyone is gonna go at 12:00 AM and you think to yourself that that is a pretty late time to be boarding a plane.

It is 8:17 AM right now so you have less than 4 hours to get ready before you leave for your flight. Thankfully, you already packed everything yesterday, but you just want to double check to make sure you have enough items to make it the 3 days.

After you check your luggage, you bring it downstairs so when it's time to go, you can easily grab your suitcase and put it in the car. You stare at your case for a few seconds, hoping that you packed enough to last the full trip to Universal Studios.

Your mom tells you that Player and his parents are going to chill at your house until it's time to board the plane. Your mouth opens into a wide grin because you get to hang out with Player before you head to the airport.

A few minutes passed, your friend and his parents arrives at your house. "Hey y/n and y/n's parents," Played greets you and your family. "Hi!!!" You excitedly reply.

Player's parents and your parents chat while you and Player go upstairs. "I can't believe that we are going to Universal Studios together!" You say while Player takes out his phone.

"Yeah, I did some research and Universal Studios is the 6th largest amusement park in the world! Over 49 million people visit it each year, and it is best known for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Jurassic World franchises!" Player shares these interesting facts with you.

You didn't expect for Player to share these facts, but they were still cool nonetheless. Universal Studios seems like a super cool place, and you cannot wait to go with your beloved friend.

You and Player talked and played <insert online game> to pass time until the flight. Your parents made breakfast for you and Player's family, and you almost choked on some food when eating too fast.

At 11:49 am, a black limousine pulls up in the driveway and a man in a tuxedo comes out. The man knocks on the door, and your dad goes to answer.

"Hello there, Mr. <last name>. We have come to pick your group up to go to the airport to fly to Orlando, Florida," the man said to your father while holding up an official name tag and certificate so your dad knows they're legit.

Everyone in your house rushes to the door, ready for the trip. "Do you have your group formed and ready with you?" The man in the black suit asked.

"Uh, yes, everyone is here," your dad replies. Suddenly, another man in a tuxedo pops out of the car with some things in his hand. He walks next to the other guy and shows everyone what he is holding.

The man is holding 6 blue lanyards, assumingely one for everyone in your group. "Please take the one that has your name on it. This is to keep track of you guys so you don't get lost or leave the theme park," he says solemnly.

You all take the lanyard with your assigned name card at the bottom and put it around your neck. Everyone's lanyard had the same shade of blue and official name tag.

Player's dad asks, "We're not allowed to leave Universal Studios?" The man who gave you the lanyard answers, "No, you may not leave the park until Thursday. You must stay within the park premises at all costs."

Your eyes shoot from left to right between everyone in your party. Darn it, this is probably the only trip you'll take outside of Canada in many years, and you're not allowed to go out and see more of the United States. Oh well, it makes sense since this is is an exclusive vacation to Universal Studios. But you still wish that you could go out and explore Florida a little.
