Just....

I can't right now.

I can't even.

So, I think this was this week, maybe?

Anyway.

I was reading a fanfic, and one of the chapters had a song.

I was like, "Hey! I should listen to this song to help me set the mood of the chapter!"

I hit play.

Guess what happened?

Nothing.

That's the problem.

NOTHING.

Why....

WHY.

WHY.... does Wattpad have the option to attach songs and videos to your chapters if you CAN'T EVEN WATCH/LISTEN TO THEM??!??

Had this happened to you?

Y'know when you read a chapter of a story, and a song is attached to it? Yeah? And then you, of course, try to play the song. Yeah no. The song never plays for me.

I get the it's probably about copy right. Totally understand that. But then why would there be the option to attach a song or video if you can't watch it?!? Why not just name the song or video in your chapter?!??

I don't know if this happens on the computer version, but it definitely happens on the mobile version.

Anyway.....

I just think there should not BE AN OPTION ON WATTPAD TO ATTACH A VIDEO OR SONG TO A CHAPTER IF YOU CAN'T PLAY IT.

Why not just name the song or video in your story? Or attach a link in the chapter or your profile page? That way people can listen to the song, or they'll know the name of the song and they can search it and listen to it while reading your story?
