Spelling. Yes, I am talking about spelling. No, I do not think you are all dumb. In fact, none of you are. You just need to think about your spelling.
Just think.
Please.
Remember, it's okay if you accidentally misspell something. That's okay. We're only human. But misspelling things left and right for days on end? Nope. Not okay? Not okay.
Here. I'll tell you a secret.
Lose and loose. They're not the same!
Wow! Peggy, why did you share such an amazing secret?!
Why?
Because I can.
You would say lose if you are losing a game, a contest, an object, etc. It means a loss, not winning.
Loose. You would say loose if you have a loose tooth, a loose nail (in wood), etc. Something is not firmly stuck inside of something else.
Other examples include definitely and defiantly.
There, their, and they're.
Where, were, and we're.
Etc....
Before you write and spell things, just think.
Think.
That's it!
Easy, huh?
Yup.
See ya.
