I'll tell you.
Covers are the first thing people see of your story!! If you have a bad cover or you don't even put in your own cover, it'll look boring!! Do I want to read a story that looks boring?
Yes?
No?
No!!
NO, NO, NO, NO!!!
If you have an interesting cover, it makes me think the story is exciting and I want to read it, right?
RIGHT!!!
However, you don't want to make your cover too detailed. That's not good.
If you make your covers on a phone or tablet, I recommend using Pic Collage. It's not specifically for covers but it can be used to make really good covers. You could also use Photo Lab and transport the finished product to Pic Collage and complete it there. When you save your cover, there is a Pic Collage logo in the bottom right hand corner. You can edit that out in your photos.
For computers, I've heard that people recommend Pic Monkey.
So please....
MAKE A GOOD COVER!!!
