I have a rant here from ocesera that I never got around to publishing, so it's better late than never! This is adding on to my rant about clichés.

"The whole cliché 'the boy saves the girl from tragedy' thing. Okay, so there can be love but why can't the girl stand up for herself? This portrays women as helpless, and only a man can help them. That's bullcrap. I mean, yes, I write about love, but my girls usually are independent. Love is fine, but honestly, you don't always need a man to be the hero.

I couldn't agree more! Love is in most stories, and there's absolutely no problem with that. Women should just be at least a bit more independent, if not, more. I agree with ocesera 100%.
